A couple of months ago we broke the news about our plans

for ICRealtime and the reaction from integrators has been

spectacular. The range of IP CCTV cameras, companion

recorders and accessories, now on the Habitech site,

demonstrates that if you are networking security in the home

or even integrating legacy analogue camera systems, the ICR

toolbox is about as complete and competent as you’ll find.

Look at the facts.

Award-Winning PerformanceICR has pedigree. Since its formation in 2006 the company

has sold over 4.5 million cameras and recorders. It’s the

leading provider in the North American Home Automation

sector, beating over one hundred companies (including Axis

and Panasonic) to be voted the number one brand by US

trade title CE-Pro magazine. The products are feature rich,

reliable, intuitive and highly competitive and as our site will

confirm we’ve selected a wide range of the best IP cameras,

recorders, lenses and accessories. Alongside the peerless

1080p performance, time-saving PoE connectivity and choice

of technology on offer, it was ICR’s powerful cross-platform

compatibility that really impressed us at the last CEDIA US

Expo. This brand is easy to control and integrate by design.

Easy-to-ControlThe high performance Linux OS is as robust as they

come and the GUI is super quick and easy-to-use making

deployment and customer training seamless. All ICR’s

IP devices and recorders can be managed through the

remote CMS software, which is compatible with Windows

and MAC – and it’s free-of-charge! Just like the operating

system, ICR’s mobile ICRSS App on Apple iOS, Android and

Windows Phone provides multisite accessibility across ICR

technologies and devices, delivering powerful control to you

and your customer.

Easy-to-IntegrateIC Realtime has the ability to integrate with leading Alarm

Receiving Centres (ARCs), other VMS vendors and home

automation systems, allowing you flexibility when augmenting

and enhancing existing security installations as well as

designing new ones. ICR’s IP cameras and recorders

integrate with most third-party VMS platforms such as

Genetec, Lenel, Milestone and Nuno, and all IP recorders

are Onvif compliant for use with other IP camera brands,

if they’re already installed. Especially outstanding for our

home control customers is the compatibility with the leading

automation brands: Control4, AMX, Crestron, Savant, RTI,

Vantage, etc. through free-of-charge drivers and easy-to-

access snapshots and video streams. What’s more, both

the NVRs and cameras provide secondary streams to allow

for lower bandwidth applications (remote monitoring or

integration with control systems that do not support H.264),

while Full HD is simultaneously available through the primary

stream and HDMI.

Unified IPAlthough the traditional IP

Camera URL can be used

in applications and drivers,

a very useful feature of

the NVRs is that they

provide every camera

stream through a unified

IP address and span

subnets. If you have

existing IP cameras on

a network and wish to

integrate new ones using

the inbuilt PoE switch, the

NVR automatically detects

these and supplies video

streams through simple URLs

on a single address.

Made for CIIn typical Habitech style we’ve gone the extra mile and

pre-configured the NVRs specifically for CI installations. This

means that out-of-the-box, the system can immediately

be connected to an HDMI matrix and DHCP network for

quick integration with a control system. Simple-to-follow

documentation with drivers on our website makes it a synch

to get the system up and running in minutes.

And the downsides? We haven’t found any yet and

we’ve dug deep. ICRealtime is the perfect complement to

our growing ProNet platform of IP brands, as capable and

competitive a solution as you’ll find anywhere in CI, complete

with excellent margins and the customary Habitech product

service and support.

IP CamerasHabitech offers the choice of 14 IP cameras from the

compact, vandal-proof and very affordable ICIP-D2000

1080P model to the ICIP-P20X3M-IR-WD, a flagship product

with 3MP resolution, full PTZ ability, 20x Optical Zoom and up

to 70m IR Range. Interspersed are specialist indoor models

such as the ICIP-3000CCD-W, an advanced box CCD

camera with built in Wi-Fi, 3MP sensor, invaluable where

cabling is absent or difficult.

All IP Cameras are• Onvif (Ver 2) compliant

• H.264 compliant

• PoE capable

• SD slot equipped for local backup and recording

NVRsChoose from no fewer than five NVRs across three ranges

starting with ‘The Breeze HD’ models in four and eight camera

versions, which offer full HD quality, simplicity and plug-and-go

installation. All the camera ports are PoE and the IP cameras

are configured automatically within two minutes of boot up, so

‘The Breeze’ really is a ‘breeze’ to install. Next, the ‘Gamma HD’

is a 32 Channel NVR designed to a higher level of specification,

which delivers 128Mbps recording capability over 32 inputs.

Topping out the NVR range and ideal for large-scale HD IP

deployment, the ‘Matrix HD’ is an Enterprise class NVR, with a

capacity of 128 channels at D1 (25fps), 64 channels at 720P

(25fps), 32 channels at 1080P (25fps). And if you’re upgrading

an existing analogue system by adding HD IP cameras in key

areas, the ‘Agile HD’ is a 32 channel hybrid recorder, delivering

16 analogue channels at full D1 (25fps) and 16 IP Channels at

1080P (6fps). As with all IC Realtime standalone NVRs there are

no camera license fees or recurring charges!
