DUMPING BABY

Society must be unwavering in condemning bay dumping as the most descicable

and heinous act that human is capable of. There¶s no question that is must be

categorised as a crime equivalent to murder if it results in the death of an infant.

Baby dumping is a term which in itself is filled with negative connotations. But it is

really an act of dumping, or in a warped sense of logic, giving a child another

chance. Baby dumping is also related to the word infanticide which is the crime of

killing a baby.

In our society today, people of every age have problems that they need to

deal with. Some problem for one age may differ from the problem of another age, or

they may be just the same. High school students especially are facing so many

problems. The five biggest problems that high school students facing these days are,

illegal racing, using drugs and alcohol abuse, having free sex, abortion and dumping

baby.

The problems usually follow the flow, first is illegal racing, commonly it be ing

held at night, and of course it gives troubles to other road users. Apart from that, it

also can be deadly for that person. After having a race, usually they will headed to

the night club. This is the place where they start to take drugs and become add icted

to alcohol. When they are under the influence of drugs and alcohol, it will lead them

to have an unprotected sex, which means having sex without taking any prevention

for pregnancy.

As a citizen in Malaysia, we need to solve and curb this problem f rom getting

worst. A solution must be reached on this crucial issue. Firstly, counselling sessions

should be organised by the ministry for both the mothers and fathers -to-be, as many

would not be in position to deal with parenthood at an early hood. Compo unding this

problem to the parents-to-be would be the additional financial expenditure for the

newborn.

Secondly, we as the authority can take preventive measures such as

censoring internet content, constant monitoring at massage parlours and also the

control of the open sale of condoms. Thirdly, society had to play their part and take



responsibilities to accept and care for unwed parents. We, as the concerned people

have to educate the youth so they know what to do and not to do in these cases.

Besides that, the responsible authority should set up awareness program at

publics and private institutions of higher learning nationwide to educate young

people, seen as a high risk group, on the consequences of unprotected sex and the

options available for young unwed parents. Last but not least, Chief Minister of

Malacca, Datuk Seri Ali Rustam decided to create pregnant school for the pregnant

students.

There are three effects of Baby dumping.That is effects on individuals, the

Baby and society. The effect of individuals is cause by illegal way of aborting the

child and left a bad effect on them because of the wrong path, they use to abort the

baby just like herbs and alcoholic substances. So, the individual will have high risk

of death caused by bleeding and infection on mothers womb's. Secondly, effects on

society. Cause the abortion will be mimicked by others Most cases of baby dumping

in the county are using the same way that removes a newborn baby into the trash.

This shows there is replication of their cruel way to remove the baby into the the

trash. Thirdly, effects on infants. Infant mortality rate is higher due to medical care is

not perfect. Besides that, there is a problem if you want to marry because there is no

guardian

In conclusion, the religious and educational authorities must play their part in

organising community progammes and collaborating with parents to nurture the right

values in the young.
