Pa., Oct. 12 —Probably the largest funeral ever hela in the historical city of Chaoobersburg, flanked on either side by the Blue Ridge Mountains, and under a beautiful sky and bril- liant sun. was witnessed last Sat- urday when services weft held for the late Page Anderson from his beautiful country estate. From early afternoon on Friday until late evening, and beginalns again Saturday morning untfl services were over at 3*15 p. at, close to 1,000 persons, amonig whom were some of the leading citizens in Franklin County, viewfjd the re- mains of their departed friend and business leader. On Friday at midnighf the Har- risburg, Pa. Consistory, of which Mr. Anderson was a meJBnber, held its service under the leadership of the Hon. Walter C. On Friday at midnighf the Har­risburg, Pa. Consistory, of which Mr. Anderson was a meJBnber, held its service under the leadership of the Hon. Walter C. Bgckett, Su­preme Grand Master of the Penn­sylvania Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, assisted by the H o n John M. Marquess andr Ray­mond Pace Alexander, brother-in-law of Mr. Anderson. There were 16 members of the Con*|»tory from Harrisburg and four nMmbers of the 33d Degree Masonic order from York to attend these rftes among whom were Dr. Downing, Dr. Tay­lor, Dr. Walker an[i M|t. McGhee. Mr. Anderson was an official of the Grand Lodge ©jf Pennsylvania and for years was h i insger of the Pennsylvatia State Maafnic Home.
