INTRODUCCIÓN

This part is accessible from the top of the device. There is no need to remove the base plate or dealwith the internal components. The function of this needle is to puncture the k-cup in order for waterto flow through to brew the coffee.

Paso 1 — Handle

Locate the handle on top of the unit

Locate the two Torx head screws on the underside of the handle. Remove them with a T15screwdriver

Bend the handle outward to remove

Paso 3 — Top Needle

While looking upwards fromunderneath the Keurig, remove thetwo 8mm Phillips #2 screws fromunderneath the black plastic"shroud".

Remove the black plastic "shroud"by pushing inwards and then pullingupwards to disengage the plastichooks that are not visible.

Paso 4

Remove the two 8 mm screws with a PH #1 screwdrver

Pull on the plastic tube to remove it

This will require a generous amount of force

Paso 5

Remove the two 8mm screws with aPH #2 screwdriver.

Paso 6

Pull out on the top componentperpendicular to the top face asshown. It will pop out without toomuch effort.

The needle is now exposed on thebottom of the part being handled inthis photo. Be careful where yougrab this component, werecommend doing as we have donehere. Grab the front "lip" of thecomponent (see photo).

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Paso 7

This is the component that shoulddetach after pulling down.

Be careful of the needle!

Paso 8

On the bottom of the component isthe exposed needle, which is nowaccessible.

If you remove the needle be carefulas it may be sharp.
