INTRODUCTION

There are three types of transfers that can be applied for. In the first case, if an applicant is joining a DMCC company coming from a government organization or a company in another Free Zone or DMCC itself, the applicant has the option to transfer his/her residence permit to the new DMCC company. In the second case an applicant may have resigned from a DMCC company to join a company in another Free Zone, in which case the applicant has the option to transfer his/her residence permit to the new Free Zone. Finally, an applicant may be transferring between two DMCC Free Zone companies, where in such case the applicant may apply to transfer the visa.

STEPS & REQUIREMENTS

Step 1: Complete application and upload required documents via online portal

Passport

No objection certificate from previous sponsor

Recent passport-sized colour photo (JPEG)

Company establishment card (If available)

Signature card of previous Free Zone

Share certificate (for shareholders only)

Labour card cancellation (if previous sponsor was Ministry of Labour)

Signed employment contract (generated by portal)

Signed code of conduct (generated by portal, if selected)

Signed non-competition agreement (generated by portal, if selected)

Highest educational certificate

On completion the Transfer Form will be delivered to your company address. In some cases, DMCC shall be required to ask for the attested educational certificates if requested by other government authorities.

Please note: it is a mandatory requirement for all companies to obtain a company establishment card. If you have not yet applied, please submit your application via Dubai Trade. Please note that your current visa application shall proceed in the meanwhile.

DMCC will issue a typed transfer form after submission of all documents. This transfer form must be signed by the other free zone sponsor and re-submitted to DMCC along with the following documents to stamp the visa.

Step 2: Once ready, enter your collection time preference on the DMCC portal and the following documents will be collected by DMCCs courier to complete the Transfer.

Emirates identification card application form (from an approved typing centre)

OUTPUT

Upon completion of all requirements DMCC shall:

TRANSFER FROM A DMCC COMPANY TO ANOTHER DMCC COMPANY

This service is only available if the Employees Residence Permit shows DMCC as the sponsor and not the actual employing company. If not, the Transfer to DMCC from other Free Zone should be applied for.
