    The FEBCO MasterSeries 876VST Double Check Detector Assembly isspecifically designed to protect against possible backpressure and back-siphonage conditions for non-health hazard (i.e., pollutant) applicationin accordance with Local Governing Water Utility Code. This BackflowAssembly is primarily used on potable drinking water systems where LocalGoverning Code mandates protection from non-potable quality water beingpumped or siphoned back into the potable water system.

    SpecificationsThe FEBCO MasterSeries 876VST Double Check Detector Valve Assemblyshall be installed on the potable water supply and at each point of cross-connection to protect against possible backpressure and backsiphonage

    conditions for non-health hazard (i.e., pollutant) applications. The assemblyshallconsistofamainlinevalvebodycomposedoftwo(2)independentlyacting approved clapper style check modules with replaceable seats anddisc rubbers. Servicing of both check modules does not require any spe-cial tools and are accessed through independent top entry covers. Thisassembly shall be fitted with approved UL/FM inlet/outlet resilient seatedshutoff valves and contain four (4) properly located resilient seated testcocksasspecifiedbyAWWAStandardC510.Theauxiliarybypasslinecon -tains a 58x34(16x19mm)WaterMeterthatcomplieswithANSI/AWWAStandardC700coupledwithanapproveddoublecheckassembly(DC)complianttoAWWAStandardC510.Thebypasslineisdesignedtodetectleaks or unauthorized water usage of the water system while protectingagainst possible backpressure and backsiphonage conditions for non-healthhazard (i.e., pollutant) application. The assembly shall be approved for hori-zontal and/or vertical-up installations while meeting the requirements ofAWWAStandardC510flowandpressurelossperformanceparameters.
