COMPACTED ROPES

Compacted ropes have more load bearing capacities than the standart ropes with same diameters. Abrasion is less and usage lives are longer as they contact the reel surfaces in a larger area.

SWAGED ROPES

Swaged ropes have advantages such as supplying coils with larger contact areas, decresaing internal stres, lifting more loads than that of the ropes with the same diameters and having longer lives.

PLASTIC COATED IWRC (EPIWRC)

Ropes whose cores coated with plastics have advantages such as operating in silence in cranes, having longer lives and protection of internal wires effectively against corrosion. Plastic Coated IWRC Steel Wire Ropes (EPIWRC) EPIWRC ropes have advantages such as operating in silence in cranes, having longer service life and effective protection of internal wire against corrosion.

Special EPIWRC ropes are used in the cranes with which every kind of lifting operations are made, in shipping, fishery and petroleum industry etc. Especially in the areas in which higher tensile breaking force is expected.

STEEL WIRE ROPE

Ropes that are produced by Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş in a large diameter range from 6 mm to 83 mm have been used for years in a various sectors such as construction, marine, fishery, petroleum exploration, mining, elevators and cranes. Ropes that are produced in compliance with international standarts such as EN, BS, DIN and JIS according to Federal specifications and API specifications have been favored ever-increasingly by the most developed countries in the world and large quantity of the production have been exported to more than 50 countries. Europe and North America are the top export destinations of our globally known quality.

RED STRAND

Our steel rope that has an exclusive place in our product range (the company is named after it) has deservedly gained speciality of a credible brand sought for years not only in domestic market but abroad by its high quality and performance. As a consequence of this credibility, all lubricated ropes between 10-83 mm are produced with a red strand (at customers pleasure in foreign markets) in order to be easily differentiated by our customers and as an additional guarantee, “ÇELİK HALAT VE TEL SAN. A.Ş.” marked green colored identification tape is placed in the ropes. Apart from that, all our ropes are awarded by a certified quality certificate.

QUALITY

Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş has ISO 9001-2008 quality management system certificates granted by the TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) and API (American Petroleum Institute)

Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş has also very important certificates for steel wire rope production that consolidate reputability of its products. One of them is Lloyd’s register certificate which is a very important approval for mainly marine ropes. The other one is API certificate (API 9A License No: 9A-0056) and monogram which is a very crucial certificate for mainly offshore and mining industries. All of our ropes are dispatched with our quality cerificate in conformity with EN 10204 3.1 showing all technical parameters of the steel wire rope.
