This section is focused on understanding the Organization Industry Sector, geographical presence andprimary information on the employees and turnover of the organization.

1. How many Legal Entities/Companies, Plants and Distribution Centers does your organizati on have?

2. Is your organization Proprietary/Private Ltd/ Publicly Listed?

3. List down the certifications that your organization has like ISO / TS / CMMI? Or any other

certification?

4. Which industries sector your organizati on belongs to? e.g. automobile, manufacturing,pharmaceutical, Infrastructure, process, Food & beverages

5. What is the turnover of your Company?

6. Does your have plants/Distribution Center exists abroad? Specify the country names. Specify theLocation of your Organization Units.

7. Are these all locations connected through the communication link? Please provide the connectivitydetails?

8. What is the employee strength of your organization?

9. Do you want to implement a centralized ERP system across the organization?

Section 2 Legacy Software and ERP Scope

This section is focused on understanding the present software application getting used within theorganization and business functions that are covered through the same.

1. Which legacy software system are you using for present business transactions?

2. What is the Infrastructure your companies have? (Servers, Networking, Internet, Hardware, LegalSoftwares )

3. Which Business Functions are currently supported through Legacy Software systems?

4. Are these systems developed in-house or are they packaged off-the-shelf applications? If they arepackaged applications, what is the level of customization that has been carried out? Is thisapplication supports all the locations?

5. Are you in touch with any ERP Software Vendor like Oracle, SAP, RAMCO, PC Soft and so on?Please specify the names of the ERP softwares underevaluation?

6. If SAP is identified as the future ERP, Who are you talking with in SAP India?

7. Which Business Functions (Accounting, Purchase, Inventory, Planning, Production, Sales, Quality,Payroll, Plant Maintenance) are under consideration for ERP implementation?

8. How many locations will the implementation cover?

This section focuses on Organizational Goal and to understand the willingness of the client for knowing theSAP Product in detail before evaluating any other ERP applications.

1. What are the key business drivers behind the ERP implementation?

2. What are your ERP Application Selection criterias?

3. Are there any of your customers, Vendors or Busi ness Partners using SAP Application? List down

the names of the same.

4. Are you aware of the SAP Business Suite and the different applications available in this BusinessSuite?

5. Do you want SAP or any of SAP Partner to visit your organization and demonstrate the capabilitiesof various application that SAP Provides through Business Suite and others?
