J Marvin Smith III MD -
Though it was good to get home and back into the swing of things here, I am already missing our
daily activities. I am indeed indebted to you, and always will be, for your efforts in seeing to it that
my first trip to Africa was a successful one.You run a good outfit and I am already musing
about when I might plan a return trip.
Roger Baber
Eight years ago, I casually mentioned to my Taxidermist that I was getting interested in going
to Africa and he put me in touch with Fred Williams, who has gone on over 30 personal African Safaris. I had international hunting
experience and was pretty specific in what, and how, I wanted to hunt. Many African outfitters have fine lodgers and good hunting areas, but few want
to hunt, hunt, hunt and hard hunting is what I wanted. I booked my fourth and fifth Safaris with
Bobby, and my species list, while not hugely long, contained mostly difficult-to-get species. We
worked our butts off and got superb trophies of all species I wanted, while staying in Bobby’s and other great camps. My next hunt with Bobby was a Leopard in Zimbabwe, and it was the most thrilling
hunt of my life. Without question, I think Bobby Hansen is the hardest working and most competent
PH in Southern Africa.
Terry Niegel
I want to thank you for my recent safari. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed myself.
The hunting was stupendous. The quality of the game and more important the quality of the hunt-
ing is second to none. To watch you and George track the game is nothing short of
magical, at least to a guy from Oregon!
Judy Yerian
The very word “Safari” can bring mixed images to a lady when the subject is brought up for the
first time. For a wife or companion, doubt or uncertainty is often the first reaction. Questions often include safety, comfort, health and even
boredom, as in “ What will I do all day while the men are hunting?”
Bring up the word Safari to a lady after her first trip, and her reaction will be enthusiasm,
excitement and her first question will be “ When are we going back?”
Ladies please be assured that safety is of paramount importance on every well-managed
safari. Excitement and adventure are guaranteed, however. Lodging is first rate, the
food is exceptional, daily laundry service is provided and yes food and beverage preferences
are solicited and accommodated.Ladies are encouraged to accompany the
hunting members of the party, and after the first day or two the ladies are often the first ones in the hunting vehicles. ( The hunting vehicles are spotless and in perfect condition.) If you wish, side trips can be arranged for Wildlife Parks
and other attractions, but usually better wildlife viewing can be done while hunting.
If you are a huntress on your first African Safari, be prepared to be amazed at the number of an-imals you will see. Take your time and be selec-tive, and you will take animals that will grace
your trophy room or your office for years.Ladies , please, please take the time to call
the references listed in this brochure. I would certainly love to answer any questions that you might have, as would all of the ladies who have
hunted with Bobby Hansen Safaris.
