Found in 18th August 1940, by Mr. M.V John, MAIECO CONSTRUCTION had taken a long hour. MANNIL ALLIED INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING COMPANY (MAIECO) was a pioneer organization in construction and engineering activities in Kerala and had its stamp of quality in its every operation. From a humble beginning with a capital of Rs.50000/- in 1940, the company had soared to new heights with its positives contributions in infrastructure building like bridges, roads etc. The technology and quality of work had fetched more fame to Maieco and this had led to diversification of the company into other sectors also.The second generation leadership headed by Mr. Varghese John had fetched new laurels for MAIECO. The company had branched out into MAIECO CONSTRUCTIONS (pvt).LTD. This marked a new era in the development of the company. Prestigious works undertaken in Public Works Department (PWD), Commercial Buildings, Roads, Bridges, and Houses etc. are the living land marks of the expertise and quality of the company.The company had a facelift with the third generation leadership. Know BiogasEven though we have different energy sources like Atomic, hydro- electric, solar, wind energy etc., we do have tremendous hidden potential embedded in renewable energy sources like biogas.Biogas is a renewable energy source which is generated when organic materials like cow dung , human excreta, bio waste from mucipal or house holds, sewage slug, animal waste etc. are decomposed an aerobically. It contains methane and carbon dioxide along with other gases like hydrogen sulphide and ammonia in lesser quantities.

WHY BIOGAS?Twin benefits are there when biogas is generated from bio waste materials. As waste management is a burning issue for many a civil societies of the country . De centralized waste management policy with an emphasis on “reduction at source” depends heavily on bio gas and related technologies as the by products have greater economic value.
