Dear Friends,
Amazing to think that we have been off the air for 1 1/2 years and it still seems like yesterday. I felt so sad that we had to close; it was such a shame as this could have gone on for a long time.
In any case, this last year has flown by for me. Sometimes I wonder how I ever had time to have a job as I find myself so very busy at home.
We have a good year, a busy year. We sold our apartment in New York City last March and now have a basement full of boxes which I am slowly going through. I probably should have thrown everything out before it got packed up.
We are fortunately all healthy and doing well. Had a lovely Thanksgiving with the family and some friends; ate too much and I went to sleep at 8:00PM, leaving all the younger folks laughing and watching TV.
Somehow, Walter Miller has managed to keep our club going, which the incredible help of Kit Williams and AJ. I am very grateful to them all for persevering.
I have done some auditions, but so far, nothing has come through. I do realize that it's very difficult to transition from one medium to another, and to have people see me as anything other than Viki, but I'll keep trying.
I have met some delightful people, who stop me to say how much they miss the show. Frankly, I miss it too, but am very grateful for the 41 years on ABC and then the 6 months on the internet.
I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year and certainly the very merriest of Christmases.
