    Boat Building Demonstration - Buffalo Maritime CenterOn Saturday, July 10th and Sunday,July 11thjoin the Buffalo Maritime Center andtake part in the building of the Buffalo Canoe! Its 15 long, weighs about forty

    pounds and is designed to support a singlepaddler facing forward,paddling kayak-style.It is intended for quiet waters and is agood beginners project.The demonstrationwill take place on the lawn adjacent tothe Central Wharf from 9am to 4pm.

    WNY Adaptive Water Sports ExpoOn Saturday,August 28th and Sunday,

    August 29th visit the Erie Canal Harbor and learn about programs and resources to

    promote, facilitate and provide individuals with disabilities the means and facilitiesto participate in water sports. Includes boat rides for the disabled.The Expo willtake place on the Central Wharf from 11am to 4pm and is free to the public.

    Fleet Feet 15K-Run into BuffaloBe part of the fourth running of The Fleet Feet 15K - Monday,September 6th, 2010 - Labor Day.The race is also the USATF NationalMasters 15K Championship,and features a beautiful course that willtake you from Buffalos Waterfront up Delaware Avenue (Millionaires

    Row) to Buffalos Frederick Law Olmsted Parkway - finishing at theErie Canal Harbor Central Wharf.The race will benefit the track andfield and cross-country programs in Western New York high schools

    GeneralInformation:RestroomsThere are public restrooms inside the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & MilitaryPark museum building - located along the Commercial Slip - across the slip fromthe Spirit of Buffalo. The museum is open from 10am to 5pm daily.There arealso portable restrooms located at the far end of the Central Wharf - pass thecenter dock house - just beyond the black gates.

    Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military ParkThe Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park is located on Commercial Street- adjacent to the Commercial Slip. The USS Little Rock,USS Croaker and USS TheSullivans are all part of the Naval Park experience.Tickets to board the ships andtour the museum and other exhibits are available for purchase inside the NavalMuseum building.The park is open seven days a week,April through October

    Ira G.Ross Areospace MuseumThe museum is located inside HSBC Arena (entrance located on the Metro Railside of the Arena) and displays are rotated every season.The Aerospace Museumis open weekends only from May 29th through June 20th, 2010.From June 24th

    Buffalo Philharmonic OrchestraYour Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is coming to the Erie Canal Harbor this summerfor a special one-night-only 75th Anniversary Celebration concert on Friday, July 23rd

    with Pops Conductor Matthew Kraemer leading the Orchestra in a program of popularsongs and themes from 75 years of cinematic history - from 1935s Captain BloodtoHarry Potterand Star Wars. Tickets are just $15 before July 1st, $20 before July 18th
