Sunday, October 4th

Remember me, Parise from France. Here we are again, travelling to Greece. I am so excited, and so are Max, Yanis, Malina, and Anaïs. Even if Mrs Garoche, Mrs Michel and Mrs Verdonk stay calm, I know thatthey are looking forward to this journey.

Oh ! Malina fears the airflight ! Fortunately, there is a very gentle hostess and she takes her to see the cockpit and the pilots, with Anaïs. How lucky they are !

We land in Athens airport ΑΦΗΝΑ. Then subway to « Doukissis Plakentias » , the school station. Our families are waiting for us. And each one is doing something different …

This very morning, we are visiting the greek school .The greek theme is mathematic and sport. Of course !So we start sport’s games organized by Katarina, the sport teacher, in the school playground, with music !A great moment for the young as for the big, developing team spirit and cohesion.

Monday , october 5th

Then we are taking a bus to go to the cultural centre of Chalandri to see a show performed by the greek children :dances from each country, and of course greek dances. The costumes are amazing . We enjoyed it very much. Have you ever tried to dance sirtaki ?

The headmistress, the teachers and a Mayor’s representative welcome us. We watch a powerpoint about Greece. And lunch time in a restaurant.After this festive gathering, let’s go back in each family …

Tuesday , october 6th

Today is special. We have « rendez-vous » with the olympic games, and we are going to the antic stadiumΠαναθεναικος, the panathenaic stadium, rebuild by Pierre de Coubertin, for the modern olympic games.

Get ready, get set and go for the Pentathlon - long jump with weights- javelin throw (Yanis best scores )- 499 meters race

sport maths- length measurements- race time- converting to seconds

Then straight to Cap Sounion Σουνιο

Friday , october 9th Today is my day. I return to school with my dolls friends, and everybody … Diploma for the kids

and teachers… A very beautiful greek belt for me. I am so chic and happy !
