Equipment Because in my music video I want to have a lot of point of view shots, I want to use a go pro, this will make the audience feel like they’re living in what they’re seeing. This will help the audience to feel more connected with the artist and the footage. The equipment I want to use varies, this is because I do not want to use a go pro throughout the whole video I also want beautiful footage from a Cannon camera. The shots will switch between what the character sees from the go pro to other footage from a Cannon 600D. This is the camera I will be using throughout the music video, I will use this to film scenes such as the beginning airport scene, in the car, and many other parts throughout the video, the quality of the footage is beautiful and such high quality when filmed with the 600d. I am comfortable with using it as I have used it many times throughout this year so I will not struggle to use it when filming. I will also be using a tripod; this is to ensure the footage is steady and not jolting around. It folds up so it is easy to carry around, therefore when travelling around between scenes it’s easy to use. Alongside using the Cannon 600d I will also be using my own Go Pro Hero 3, I have filmed on this various times for example when I went skiing on holiday I was able to strap it to the top of my helmet, so it’s very useful especially if you’re filming a very practical and ‘busy’ music video. The quality of the footage is amazing and I am also able to film underwater, this gives me an advantage as I would hopefully like to go scuba diving in my music video so I will use this camera to film.

Because in my music video I want to have a lot of point of view shots, I want to use a go pro, this will make the audience feel like they’re living in what they’re seeing. This will help the audience to feel

more connected with the artist and the footage. The equipment I want to use varies, this is because I do not want to use a go pro throughout the whole video I also want beautiful footage from a Cannon

camera. The shots will switch between what the character sees from the go pro to other footage from a Cannon 600D.

This is the camera I will be using throughout the music video, I will use this to film scenes such as the beginning airport scene, in the car, and many other parts throughout the video, the quality

of the footage is beautiful and such high quality when filmed with the 600d. I am

comfortable with using it as I have used it many times throughout this year so I will not

struggle to use it when filming.

The quality of the

footage is amazing and I am also able to film underwater, this gives me an advantage as I would hopefully like to go scuba diving in my music video so I will use this camera to film.

To assist me whilst filming with my go pro I brought an extendable stick for my camera so that I will be able to film myself doing various things such as wearing the objects such as a t-shirt, this will allow me to easy swap from the scene in my bedroom to the flashback.

Lastly, when filming my music video I will also have a chest mount that will allow me to film things such as jet skiing etc.

This will be extremely useful as the camera will be securely strapped to my chest.
