Mr Pistorius has always denied intentionally killing Miss Steenkamp and said

her death was a 4: _____ accident. He claimed to have mistaken Miss Steenkamp,

his girlfriend who had been sleeping at his home, as an intruder who had broken

into his house late at night. Mr Pistorius claimed to have fired four shots into a
