Guide to Preparation 1• Use Carrots, cucmber & green apples• Wash items and air dry• Wash jars, knife, chopping board & air-dry• Make sure all are dry & clean (no mould)• Use 3:1 ratio – 3 parts fruit – 1 part sugar• Peel fruits & cut into little pieces• Place one layer of fruit slice in plastic jar• Then one layer of cane sugar• Repeat the process until jar is full• The last layer must be covered with sugar
