Every two seconds an area of forest the size of a football pitch is destroyed.

Over the past 200 years, 413 species have been lost in England. Mainly due to changes to land from farming and house building. Also pollution and pesticides.

For the first time since they were hunted to extinction in the 1700s, England has a wild beaver population - and they are here in Devon, on the River Otter!

The mountain gorilla is critically endangered with only around 880 left in the wild.

Our money is used for:

•Training rangers to remove traps set for animals

•Protecting gorilla habitat

•Training rangers to protect baby gorillas against poaching

Petition to save the pygmy sloth

The pygmy three-toed sloth is found in a tiny area of red mangrove forests on an island in Panama. It rapidly evolved a much smaller body size in its short 8,900 years of isolation from mainland species.
