'Dual Moment' Corner ConstructionThe 'Dual Moment' welded corner is thestrongest aluminium door constructionavailable. All four corners are welded fourtimes and fastened mechanically. Rigoroustesting has verified its durability andexceptional strength.

Fully adjustable weathered astragals arestandard on the lock stiles. All permissibletolerances are thus accumulated at themeeting stiles where an adjustment to theastragal, can compensate. Binding orgaps can be corrected by a simpleadjustment. Glazing beads push directlyinto the door section to enhanceweathering and ease glazing.

SecurityKawneer’s 190 Door has been tested tothe PAS 23 and PAS 24 Standards for theenhanced security performance of singleand double leaf external doors, proven bystringent laboratory testing, carried out atthe Building Research Establishment(BRE). The 190 Door meets light, mediumand heavy use specifications and issuitable for internal and external doors inall types of buildings from dwellings rightthrough to public use doors in offices,shops and hospitals.

IntroductionThe Kawneer AA®605TE Swing Door is a highperformance thermally efficient door due tothe polyamide thermal break that isincorporated into the aluminium profile. Withthe use of extruded gasket profiles, thissystem achieves its weathering performanceby means of drained and ventilated glazingrebates.

Designed for direct fix to masonry, window anddoor composites or ribbon windows, the rangecan suite with the Kawneer curtain walling andframing systems and is suitable for low or highrise buildings.

The AA®605TE Swing Door is available as asingle action open-in or open-out swing doorand can be single or dual colour.

IntroductionThe AA®4001 Semi-unitised Framing system,designed in line with the DfE’s ‘Building schoolsfor the future’ is compliant with current buildingregulations, acoustics BB93 and environmentallyfriendly classrooms BB95.

As well as traditional stick build and semi unitising,the system offers the advantage of fully unitisedassembly and also enables it to meet thedemands of fast track work schedules andrestricted working conditions.

The AA®4001 Semi-unitised Framing system isadaptable to any new construction project, anddue to the fact that it can be quickly installed inoccupied buildings with minimal disturbance, thesystem is ideal for refurbishment projects.
