Photograph and Video Challenge• You are to create a set of photographs, a video or a

combination of both.• Your entry will be a maximum of 1 minute long and will

advertise Meopham School to the public.• Create either a:

• PowerPoint• Adobe After Effects production• Flash animation

• Come and book out an Ipod touch from the Business/ICT office if you do not have any technology to complete the tasks on yourself.

• Deadline: Last week of term.• Email to ema or submit by memory stick or CD to the

Business/ICT office. Don’t forget to name your work.

Google Sketch-up Challenge• You are to make one of the following designs using Google

Sketch-up. However, the task must be done without the help of downloadable templates/images.1. A computer classroom of the future

2. A school of the future

3. A playground of the future

4. A house of the future

5. A cinema of the future

6. A shopping centre of the future

7. A mobile phone of the future

8. Your own idea of a futuristic object, entertainment experience, building etc.

• Deadline = End of term• Email to Mr Nijjer on mni or submit a named, printed copy to the

Business ICT office.

Soundbooth Challenge• It is your challenge to upload and then apply effects to a

piece of your favourite music so that it sounds completely different.

• You must e-mail Mr Weller on SWR to organise a time when you can be supervised in uploading your chosen piece of music from your IPod to the school system. The music must not contain any swear words.

• Then your challenge is to learn how to use a music editing program called Soundbooth on your own without any help. It is in start, programs, Adobe Master Collections CS4.

• Deadline = End of term• E-mail your entries to SWR or give in a saved copy to the

Business/ICT office.

Extended writing competition• You are to research the company history of either Apple,

Blackberry, Blizzard or another successful forward thinking business you are interested in.

• Once the research is complete you are to present your findings. You can do this either as:1. A piece of writing at least 2 pages long

2. A very detailed PowerPoint presentation

3. A newsletter using a Publisher template

• If your entry contains any copy/paste information it will not be judged. The writing has to be your own work.

• Deadline = End of term• Entries can be e-mailed to Mr Kent on fke or printed and

given into the Business/ICT office.

• Write down the sentence on paper and give it in to the Business/ICT office by the end of term. If you can include your own binary message on the same piece of paper (and it makes sense when translated) you will get a small edible prize.
