Enrolment Instructions for Development Coaching Accreditation via MyNetball

Overview

MyNetball Learning is Netball’s Learning Management System. It records learning that has been undertaken by netball participants as well as offering

online courses and assessments. MyNetball Learning is part of MyNetball and requires participants to have a MyNetball login.

Development Coaching Accreditation has several pre-requisites these are;

1. Hold a current Foundation Coaching Accreditation

2. Registered Full Financial Member of Netball Victoria (Senior or Junior only).

3. Completion of Development Online Course

4. Current Rules of Netball Theory Examination pass (70% or above)

5. Development Face to Face Workshop. 3 and 4 needs to be completed before

enrolling in 5.

How do I enroll in this course?

You can access and enroll in the course through MyNetball portal and the following steps:

Enter Username (Netball Victoria

Membership Number or Email

Address linked to your account)

then enter your password.

Please make sure you have clicked

on the Participant button then

click ‘Log in’.

If you have forgotten your password -

please click ‘Lost Password’.

If you are New to MyNetball please click on the New to MyNetball Link which will direct you, to the

below links. Please follow the prompts to set up an account or send an email to Netball Australia to

assist you.

1. Once logged in, please make sure you are

viewing your account and not that of another

family member.

Please note: If other members of your family have the

same email address recorded against their account, all

the accounts can be linked and accessed via a single

login.

Use Participant Selector and the linked records drop

down list to switch to the appropriate person if

required.

Any linked accounts will appear

here. Select yours by clicking

on your name.

2. Make sure all your personal

details are up to date by

hovering your mouse over ‘My

Details’ then click ‘Participant

Details’.

It is extremely important to have an

email address entered that you can

access.

Confirmations and Other Learning

Information will be sent to this email

address.

Make sure you click ‘Update’ to save

your details.

3. To Access My Learning, hover

mouse over ‘Learning’ on the

toolbar. Then Click Online Learning.

4. The ‘My Courses’ tab on the My

Learning Page, shows courses that you

have enrolled in or have previously

completed.

Click on ‘Browse Available Courses’

button and you will find the My

Learning Catalogue.

5. Scroll down & click on Coach –

Development Online Course

6. In order, to enrol in the Coach –

Development Online Course, you

need to have completed your

Foundation Coaching

Accreditation.

7. Click Enrol and Complete

Payment Details.

Please note – if you have completed any of

the pre-requisites and they are not showing

up on MyNetball, please contact the Netball

Victoria Workforce Department with

evidence i.e. copies of certificates.

8. Launch Online Course

and Complete all 5

Modules.

9. Please ensure you

have selected one Drill

for the Face to Face

Workshop and have

started your Session

Plan.

10. Once all modules are

complete, this screen will

appear.

Congratulations, you are now

one step closer to gaining your

Development Accreditation.

Next Step – Rules of Netball

Theory Exam.

11. Return to ‘My Learning

catalogue’

Find – Rules of Netball Theory

Exam.

Once launched you have 1 Hour to

complete exam. You need to achieve at

least 70% to pass exam.

12. Once you have passed the

Exam, you will receive your

Certificate.

13. Now it’s time to enrol in the

Coach – Development Face to

Face Workshop.

14. Return to My Learning

Catalogue and

Click on Coach – Development

Face to Face Workshop

15. You will be unable to enrol

into a Workshop without these

pre-requisites completed and

approved.

16. Search for the Workshop

you would like to enrol in (for

example Yarra Ariels)

OR simply search VIC for all

Victorian workshops.

17. Once you have found the

workshop you are looking for

click ‘Attend Session’.

18. Double check details of

workshop then fill in your

payment details and Click Next.

You are now enrolled in the

Development Face to Face

Workshop.

19. Before the Workshop, make

sure you have chosen your drill

and have completed your

Session Plan.

20. Attend and Complete Workshop.

Congratulations! You have now gained

your Development Coaching

Accreditation.

21. Within 10 days of the workshop,

your MyNetball account will be

updated and you will receive your

certificate on MyLearning.
