The project concerns the revamp of the Vacuum Unit U-200 Vacuum Columns (Two –Off)

Pumparound Circuits, to operate at actual increased throughput of the Unit. The Scope of Work

involves the Detail Engineering activities required for obtaining in the unit the increased throughput,

based on a preliminary process study already performed.

Replacing of existing Equipment with new:

• Coolers (Vacuum Gas Oil, Vacuum Residue, BG10 Product Air Cooler, etc.)

• Heat Exchangers (Reduced Crude / VGO Heat Exchanger etc.)

• Pumps (BG10 Product, BG20 Product, Asphalt Circuit, BG30 Circuit etc.)

• Flow Valves, Level Control Valves, Temperature Control Valvesand

• Necessary modifications and replacement of a number of lines, due to their inadequacy for the

new flowrates.

Motor Oil Hellas – Corinth RefineriesRevamping projects – De-Inventory System of HF Alkylation Unit

Project Description:

Project Concerns the revamp of the HF Alkylation Unit U-3700 rapid HF acid de-inventory system in

order to target an acid dump time (close to 3 minutes).

The new de-inventory system (replacement of the existing obsolete system -HF Dump Drums &piping)

is to be used in conjunction with the existing water application system (i.e. application of water

sprays that will absorb HF and depress HF aerosol cloud formation) to effectively mitigate HF

accidental releases (activation will use the existing HF detection system).

Based on Licensor /UOP Revamp Feasibility Study the main modifications are, while assess the

possible re-use of existing equipment:

• existing HF acid de-inventory piping and existing HF Dump Drums shall be dismantled,

• a new Acid Dump Drum shall be installed,

• new HF acid de-inventory piping and isolation valves shall be provided and

• finally one of the existing pumps will be modified (larger impeller, new motor and new seal) and

relocated next to new Acid Dump Drum to serve as Dump Drum De-Inventory Pump.

Scope of Service:Coordination with the Licensor/UOP, Finalization of Basic Design (Assessment of re use of existing equipment, Check existing Relief Gas Scrubber capacity/ Units Flare Sub-header, Finalization on requirements on fire insulation of the equipment, Detail Engineering Design Multi-Discipline, Adequacy checking of existing equipment, Procurement Services, Cost Estimation, Tendering Services, Mechanical Catalogue, Support (HAZOP/ ENOVIA), Project Management Activities.

Motor Oil Hellas – Corinth RefineriesRevamping projects – MEROX UNIT U-1400

Project Description

The project concerns the revamp and conversion the existing Unit 1400 Jet Fuel/Kerosene Sweetening Unit - MEROX to increase the capacity, to resolve the separationproblems in the pre- and post- treatment sections of the Unit, based on a Feasibility

Study made by others.

The capacity needs of the Unit significantly increasead over the years of operation dueto the increase of capacity of the upstream Unit(s) and to the addition of the newCrude Distillation Unit in the Plant;moreover also the crude oil slate processed by the refinery changed comparedto the original Unit design. In particular, some of the crudes currently handled by therefinery are quite difficult to sweeten due to their high Mercaptan Sulphur andNaphthenic acids content.

Modifications include among others, the operation in two independent trains, newfilters, vessels, heat exchangers, coalescer, and all related Piping, Instrumentation,Electrical and Civil works required for the unit revamping.

Scope of Service

Coordination with the Licensor/ UOP (Merox-Process), Finalization of Basic Design, Detail Engineering Design Multi-Discipline, Procurement Services, Cost Estimation, Tendering Services, Mechanical Catalogue, Support HAZOP, Project Management Activities.

Motor Oil Hellas – Corinth RefineriesRevamping projects – MTBE UNIT 2600 CONVERSION TO ETBE UNIT

Project

Description

The project concerns the revamp and conversion of the

existing MTBE Unit 2600 to become an ETBE unit using as feed

only ethanol, based on a Process Design package by SAIPEM.

The revamp activities considered only for the continuous &

steady state operation in ETBE mode only and not for the

possibility of methanol feed in batch change as initially the FDP

has foreseen.

Modifications include among others installation of new heat

exchangers new pumps, new pressure Safety valves, and all

related Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical and Civil works

required for the unit revamping.
