MUSEUM DISTRICTToward the end of Montrose Boulevard, the majestic Mecom Fountain marks the entrance to Houston's Museum District. Nestled among oak line streets are 18 world class museums ranging in scope from the arts to natural science, a world renowned children's museum, a health museum,

South of Downtown lays Midtown-an eclectic mixture of Houston's trendiest spots. Situated between Downtown and the Museum District, this neighborhood is home to young professionals who love their diverse dining pleasures, from Mediterra-nean, Tex Mex to churascaria sushi and seafood. On Saturday morning, Midtown's famous Farmers Market is open to rain or shine.

Midtown has it's share of art galleries. Flower Row lines Fannin Street with bargain flower shops just north of Main Street. South of Montrose, Westheimer Boulevard has unique antique shops, coffee houses and small diners. At sunset the Midtown nightlife scene with its bars, clubs and live music come together with the mellow sounds of Blues, Jazz and Hip Hop.
