Provide specific guidance for reopening schools to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of students and staff.
Promote high levels of achievement for all learners while addressing potential learning losses extending from the crisis and school closings.

Risks to public health • Resurgence of infection among students, staff, and the community, could lead to waves of closures and reopening.
Schools’ importance to economic activity
• Relates to the importance of schooling in providing childcare so parents/families can return to work.
Impacts on students learning and thriving
• Learning shortfalls or lost learning by COVID-19 could be heightened in the distance learning environment.
• Clear expectations for staff and students during the scenarios are essential.
