The Istituto Superiore per le tecniche di conservazione dei beni culturali e dell’Ambiente “Antonino De Stefano” aims to promote and strengthen the activities of Cooperation to the Development toward the Less Developped Countries and at the same time to develop the scientific research in the sector of the maintenance and the exploitation of the Cultural Heritage and Environment. The Shool aims to improve the profile of the Experts who will coordinate and manage Cooperation Projects in the Cultural Heritage and Environment Safeguard sector. The Shool offers a specif training that confer high professionality on normative and Project Management of Cooperation to the Development, on different methodologies of restoration in the field of Cultural Heritage (archeological, architectural, historical-artistic and ethno-anthropological) and in the filed of the Environment (environmental conservation and naturalistic engineering). The School will articulate with technical and practical activities: restoration, laboratory of maintenance and planning, archeological missions in foreign countries. The School will also develop apprenticeship and preparation to the management of archeological sites, museums, protected areas. Technician practical experiences will be improved using the most advanced and innovative technologies or tools.

Nazionale delle Ricerche ICIS Padova. For this Course ISAD is associate with ASAL,
ngo involved in formation, education and information on
Human Rights, Intercultural and Environmental fields.
The School is open to Students with Master degree in Architecture, Leterature, Archeology, Cultural Heritage, Phyisic, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences.
