ENGLISH SOCIETY ACTION PLAN FOR 2016

NUM. ACTIVITIES SUGGESTION1 Meeting of English Language Society Member

- Advisors will appoint some of the pupils from level 2 (year 4,5 & 6) as members of English Language Society in order to implement any activities related to English Society.

2 Prepared Things For LINUS LBI- Things will be prepared by teachers. Present

pupils will be do their task observe by advisors


3 Solving Word Maze and Hidden Pictures- Get pupils to solve word maze and looking for

hidden pictures based on power point shown.


4 Singing- Listen to the song “You Are My Sunshine”- Sing again.- Looking for new words from song.


5 Quiz- Pupils will divided to group.- Pupils will answered questions


6 Spelling- Pupils need to spell correctly as many words as

possible based on topic/categories given.


7 Newspaper Cutting- Pupils need to cut the articles from newspaper into

several pieces.- The article must be related to education matters.- Get them to paste it on plain papers (A4 papers) to

provide a scrap book.- Pupils are encouraged to decorate the scrap book

based on their creativity.


8. Collage Making Activities- This activities needs pupils to draw posters and

decorate it by using collage technique.


9 World Building (Scrabble)- Pupils play the game on scrabble boards.- They are encouraged to build as many words as

possible.


10 World of Wisdom- Pupils will be in groups.- A paper pale and crayons will be given for each

group.- Pupils need to express words of wisdom on the

plate and decorate it nicely.- Pupils products will be shown on classroom room.


11 Reading Short Stories and Review- Pupils will be divided into groups and get them to

read the short stories with correct intonation and punctuation.

- Pupils need to review the story by writing down their favourite character, synopsis, the main idea, moral values and others


12 Poetry and Jazz Chants Recitation- Get pupils to recite poem and jazz chats with

correct pronunciation and intonation.
