Coat CheckAll bags, backpacks, and packages should be checked. For the safety of the artwork, bags may not be carried on one’s back.

Sketching and PhotographyVisitors may not use pens, video cameras, or selfie sticks in the galleries. Still photography is permitted without flash and tripod and for non-commercial use only. Tripod passes are available Monday–Friday at the discretion of the Security Department. Visit an information desk for the Museum’s policy on gallery sketching and photography.
StrollersStrollers are permitted in most areas. Inquire at an information desk for gallery limitations. Oversize and jogging strollers may not be brought into the Museum.
Food and DrinkWater in plastic bottles may be brought into the Museum. Other food or drink is not allowed and may not be checked at the coat checks.

Roof Garden Bar $Cocktails and light fare. Open-air setting with views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. Seasonal (May–October).Floor 5.
The Dining Room $$$10% discount for Members and Patrons. Fine dining with seasonal menus and treetop views of Central Park. Exhibition-themed tasting menus offered Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations suggested; call 212-570-3975. Floor 4.
