Summary of the storyHere Comes Trouble is a short story about Trudy, a girl who just can’t see to stop causing trouble. Trudy is quite clumsy and has a habit of breaking things. She feels terrible until one day she visits Mrs Willow. The older lady shows her that she doesn’t always have to be so accident prone. What you likedIn Here Comes Trouble I liked how kind Mrs Willow was to Trudy. Everyone at school was mean to Trudy. Mum was also very worried about Trudy causing accidents. Mrs. Willow looked after Trudy and helped her see that she was actually very helpful when she put her mind to it. What you dislikedIn the story, I didn’t like how mean Trudy’s classmates were. They called her ‘trouble’ which wasn’t a very nice name. It made me sad to think of how Trudy must have felt in that moment. Would you recommend this story and to who?I would recommend this story. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever felt left out in a situation or has ever felt like they weren’t good at something. I think this story has an important message that we are all special and that sometimes all we need is someone to believe in us.What would you change about the story? If I could change anything about Here Comes trouble it would be the ending. I liked that Trudy was able to save the kitebut I would have liked to have known what happened after. I wonder if her Mum was excited for her? I would like to know what happened to Trudy now that she can no longer be called ’Trouble’.
