Dear Grade 5,
From this week, we will start with your DBE Book 2. It is your responsibility to ensure that
your Book 1 is completed by the time you return to school.
I will send work out every Monday, so make sure to check the school website regularly. The
work that I send out must be done on lined paper, since you do not have your DBE Book 2
at home. Make sure you write the date on this lined paper, and number correctly as in the
book. I will attach an example photo in this worksheet as to how your work must be done.
Do every work piece as the example. Do not lose your papers; you will have to redo the
work.
It is not necessary for you or your parents to print out these papers, if you do so; it is your
own choice. If you cannot open these files, make sure to download the Adobe PDF Reader
app, it will enable you to view the worksheets. Make sure you do the work every day so you
don’t fall behind. I will see you when the school starts again.
