questions correctly. It is a game to test student’s knowledge about a certain subject. Technical

Round 1

Identification of components. Participants qualified in this level will be moved to next level.

Round 2

Participants are given a circuit on paper, they need to assemble the circuit on bread board and

should show the desired output. Those who have shown the output within the specified time will be the

winner.

Just A Minute(JAM) -Event Report

Just-A-Minute (or JAM) is an all round-fun event that is all about the control of

the mind over the mouth. Can you make it through sixty seconds of non-stop

talking without hesitation, repetition, or deviation? Or will the sheer pressure make

you crumble and have your competitors pounce on you in an instant?

THE RULES:

1. The JAM master is god. No questions or arguments once the final decision has

been made

2. To object, slam the table and say “JAM”. The JAM master decides when you

are allowed to put forth your objection

3. You get a penalty if the competition objects on any of the following counts:

a. you object out of turn

b. You stutter, stammer, and generally indulge in “time-wasting tactics”. These

include efforts to buy time like interspersing your talk with “uhh”, “aah” etc...

c. Early start and late start

d. speaking too fast or too slow.

e. Grammatical errors.

f. Undue stress on words, undue emphasis in the sentences

g. Repetition of a previously used idea

4. The total time is sixty seconds, inclusive of all the time that all the speakers in a

given round are allowed to speak

5. Points are given in the following manner:

a. Positive points for every second that you speak

b. Positive points for every correct objection

c. Negative points for every incorrect objection

d. Bonus points for being the last speaker

6. The winner is the person with the maximum number of points at the end of the

round.

CIRCUITRIX

Circuit Debugging is a technical event in which your knowledge about electronics will be

tested with a series of designing and implementing tasks. As the participant, you would be asked

to design circuits for a given problem statement and implement them in the most efficient way

possible. Apply your brains in concepts of electronics and make use of this platform to bring out

the electronic nerd within you.

Circuit Debugging consists of two rounds to select the best team.

Round 1

This round is component identification. Selected teams from this round will proceed to the next

round.

Round 2

This round is for people filtered after the first round. Herein the team should connect the

circuit and the output is verified by the Co-Ordinator.The first two best team who completed first will be

selected for the First and Second Prize.

Round 1

18 teams registered for this Round-1 Component identification. Round 1 started at 10.40

A.M to 10.50 A.M. in room number 1305

Round 2

05 Teams selected to connect the circuit given to respective teams in Round-2. Round-2

Started at 11.00 A.M at EDC LAB (1305-A).



From the final round (Round-2) the first two outputs selected as the First and second prize for II Year

and III Year Separately.
