To develop business is our energy solution: fin tubes, heat exchangers,

chilled ceiling and solar elements. In our three plants in Fröndenberg and

Menden (North Rhine Westphalia) we manufacture products for sophisticated

customers in the area of machinery and plant construction, refrigeration

and air conditioning, as well as for the automotive and heating industry.

The quality of our products and the confidence of

our customers have made us one of the leading

manufactures of finned tubes and heat exchanger

components. With the patented product laser-

welded stainless-steel finned tubes we are also

among the technology leaders in this industry.

Finned tubes in heat exchangers offer both technical and

economic advantages. Our products are always up to date;

our customers benefit of competence.

We keep up with technical development. Heat ex-

changers are required to provide ever higher perfor-

mance at ever more compact design. With the fins

of high-conductivity material (rolled from the wall of

the tube or laser welded), the heat transfer perfor-

mance increases and at the same time costs are

reduced. The heat exchangers are made with less

material input because the wall thickness of the

housing can be reduced. We have the fitting so lu tion

for every application. We provide a wide range of

high-performance finned tubes of different parame-

ters for different customer groups and applications.

With our technical equipment and our know-how we

are able to handle process most different materials.

In addition to copper (including copper alloys), we

are in a position to manufacture finned tubes from

envi ro n - mentally compatible and corrosion resistant

metals such as stainless steel, special stainless steel,

titanium and nickel-based materials.

The targets of our customers are our targets. If

high operational safety is required, we have special

double-walled safety tubes with leak indicator.

These tubes provide utmost safety when aggressive

media are used.

The number of customers in the heating industry,

in refrigeration and air-conditioning, in the machinery

and plant construction as well as in the automotive

industry, who rely on our products, is growing cons-

tantly.

On the basis of a wide range of highly efficient finned tubes we supply

standard heat exchangers as well as customized designs.

Schmöle supplies a variety of heat exchangers, e.g.,

to the heating and automoti ve industry, for refrige-

ration and air-conditioning as well as for machinery

and plant construction. The applications include ref-

rigerant evaporation, refrigerant condensation, water

heating, hot gas cooling and oil cooling. We supply

finned tube coil heat exchangers, coaxial heat ex-

changers, finned tube coil heat exchangers with

jacket housing and special heat exchanger designs.

We guarantee a custom solution for every appli ca-

tion and for every medium. Because we have the

competence of different materials (copper, copper-

nickel, aluminium, stainless steel) our products

meet the requirements of any application.

This applies, in particular, to our special designs.

Constantly higher demands on improved perfor-

mance of the products and limited space require

extremely compact and powerful heat exchangers.

We develop such products for the heating industry,

e.g., condensing technology or heat pumps, plant

construction; the applications include hydraulic

systems, power plants, the car and truck industry

for exhaust recooling and cooling servo-assisted

hydraulic steering systems.

With Schmöle you are always on the safe side.

To ensure the high quality of our heat exchangers,

we proceed numerous tests and inspections during

the production process. Schmöle disposes of a

certified quality management system according

to DIN EN ISO 9001 as well as approval according

to pressure vessel guideline 97/23/EG. The pro-

duction is accompanied by tests laid down in a

quality assur ance plan which is established for the

individual product. As leak test nitrogen inside

pressure test under water and helium test are used.

By constant development of the quality manage-

ment system Schmöle is known to their customers

as reliable business partner and manufacturer of

high quality products.

Chilled ceilings, solar collectors and heat exchangers for cooling electri cal

components: Schmöle is a competent supplier and a source of innovative

ideas also in heat exchange panels. We supply chilled ceilings, solar elements,

pipe meanders, air walls, heat planars, cooling panels and connection ele-

ments of highest quality.

The room climate is one of the most important fac-

tors for people to feel comfortable. We are experts

in the gentle way of air-conditioning – through chilled

ceilings. These ceilings conduct heat not only by air

flow but also by water systems.

Schmöle has been active in perfecting this techno-

logy for a number of years and has the technical

know-how of combining different ceiling systems

by water-carrying tube registers. Depending on the

selected water tem perature the room can be cooled

or heated. Our modular air walls are ideal for dry

construction. They provide heating / cooling and

a complete wall in one unit and are furthermore

especially energy-saving.

Solar technology is in a constant process of develop-

ment. With our products, we are among the pace-

makers of this development. Schmöle produces

copper tubes which are ideal for the production of

adsorbers for solar collectors. The contact surface

is substantially larger and the efficiency of the

collector can be optimized with oval or flattened

tube meanders. We ex clusively use seamless drawn

tubes; if needed protection can be integrated.

Not only our products but all procedures and pro -

cesses relating to customers are constituent parts

of our quality philosophy. Our guiding motto is: If

you want to supply quality, the first thing to do is

know the requirements, define the targets and then

pursue them consistently.

Our company is certified by independent agencies to

the quality standards of ISO 9001:2008 and PED

97/23/EC. It is the testimony of our performance and

innovative drive. This documents our ability and

willingness to respond to changes of the market and

requirements of our customers with flexibility and

innovation – a complex requirement which we meet

with an effective mature quality management system.

Due to the certification after ISO 9001:2008 and

PED 97/23/EC we have reached important aims but

not an end point. Because quality as we understand

it is a never-ending process.
