Proposed Indication
Fabrazyme (agalsidase beta) is indicated for use
as a long-term enzyme replacement therapy in
patients with a confirmed diagnosis of Fabry
disease. Fabrazyme treats the underlying
pathology of Fabry disease by significantly
clearing globotriaosylceramide (GL-3) to normal
or near normal levels from the vascular
endothelium of the kidney, heart and skin.
