What is the system made of?

AEA (Arachidonylethanolamide) Anandamide
2-AG (2-Arachidonylglycerol)
• Inhibitory Neurotransmitters.
• Derived from Arachidonic acid.
• Lower pain, nausea, wasting, brain damage.
• increases communication between amygdala & frontal cortex.
• Increases exploratory behavior & learning.
• Decrease anxiety

CB 1-5, TRPV-1
• CB receptors 300-500 million years old
