Also because this film is being released on valentine’s day, it will appeal to both single people and couples because both types of people may want to see a film about love on valentines day.

The white writing over the picture, could be implying to a target audience that this film might be quite raunchy or even quite shocking in some ways as it says ‘Say goodbye to innocence’. So it leaves the audience questioning what is going to happen that isn’t ‘innocent’ already. I think this is a really good example of attracting a certain type of audience, that the film wants to appeal to.

The poster introduces the audience to the two main characters, and also expresses the relationship between them. This gives off the idea that the characters are a couple, although the male character doesn’t look too happy, so maybe the female has done something that he didn’t approve of.
