INTRODUCTION

Then they said to Him, Why do the disciples of John fast often and make prayers,

and likewise those of the Pharisees, but Yours eat and drink? And He said to

them, Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is

with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from

them; then they will fast in those days.

Then He spoke a parable to them: No one puts a piece from a new garment on anold one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the

new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else

the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be

ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.

And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, The old

is better. Luke 5:33-39

Throughout history, seasons change in the movements of the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught

this parable to instruct us that new moves of His Spirit will not fit into old structures thatonce were sufficient to hold the wine of that former season.

The wineskin represents a church structure that holds the wine of the Holy Spirits

presence and enables Christ to build His church in His way. As seasons and moves of theSpirit change over time, new structures must be developed at His leading to hold the new

wine. Old structures become dry, inflexible and incapable of stretching with the

fermenting power of the new movement.

Many recent church wineskins focused on structures that included a wide variety of

programs to meet the needs of Gods people, the community and missions to a needyworld. Church growth strategies were employed and tremendous facilities were

developed to handle the people flocking to enjoy the wine of that season. That old season

is ending and is being replaced by a season characterized by fasting and holy fire tocleanse the Bride in preparation for the Bridegroom to return.

John the Baptist led a movement of the Holy Spirit characterized by fasting to prepare for

Jesus first coming. Jesus led a movement characterized by rejoicing and good news.Jesus said that after He was taken away, a time of fasting would come again. It is vital

that we understand the times and seasons of the Spirit and be willing to flex and change.

After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went

into the country (Mark 16:12-13). Jesus disciples were walking on a road to Emmaus

and were joined by the risen Savior. They did not recognize Him at first because He

appeared to them in a different way than what they were accustomed. As they brokebread with Him, their eyes were opened to see Him in this new form. We must be wise

enough to recognize when our hearts burn within us to testify of Jesus coming in a new

form. He is constantly manifesting His light from different vantage points of His infiniteglory through history. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house ofGod; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the

gospel of God (I Peter 4:17-18)?

God is committed to preparing a bride without spot or wrinkle to present to His Son on

that great wedding day1. Many Christians dont believe God is up to the task. This isbecause they have barely tasted the dealings of the God of Judgment. God is not judging

us for salvation or eternity, but rather dealing with our impurities and mixed motivations.

The culture of this world has seeped into the church like an unplugged dike for many

decades. Recently, this dike has broken down and allowed a flood of immorality and

wickedness to consume many. The church that covers up pedophile behavior by its

clergy, ordains homosexual pastors and approves of abortion (a womans right to choosemurder) is not built by Jesus Christ.

The church that is built to promote the agenda or popularity of its leader or denominationmust be judged and burnt by the all consuming fire of the Holy One on High. The fiery

judgment of the Lord is upon us and will consume wood, hay, stubble and flesh2. We can

either run from the fire or run to it. Either way, the fire will deal with our stuff and itwont be pretty for a time and a season. However, the intended outcome is for a church

to be built that will walk in the Spirit and talk in complete agreement with the Head, even

Jesus Christ the Righteous One.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me ismightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with

the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly

clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn

up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:11-12

The old dry wineskins and all that is of the flesh are to be consumed by His everlasting

fire3. Jesus cleanses the chaff of mans carnal church building efforts by intense spiritual

fire. His motive is to have a pure and spotless Bride and prepare a place for massiveworld wide harvest of souls that can be brought into a holy place where God dwells.

The Lord is zealous to cleanse his threshing floor and will accomplish this great task4

.We can cooperate with him by being zealous for repentance and keeping the brazen altar

of prayer stirred up daily as a holy New Testament priesthood 5. God is going to release

this fire as we rebuild His altar6 as Elijah once did.

PRINCIPLE 1 JESUS CHRIST WILL BUILD HIS CHURCH

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples,

saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? So they said, Some say

John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. He said

to them, But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said, You

are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh andblood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say

to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of

Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of

heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you

loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Then He commanded His disciples that

they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. Matthew 16:13-20

Jesus Christ will build His church on the rock of revelation. Revelation from above is

the key to enable disciples to partner with Jesus to build His church. Jesus promised togive the revelatory keys of the kingdom to His disciples and declared that the Father was

pleased to release them to us7.

Peter received the specific revelation from the Father that Jesus was the Christ, the Son ofthe living God. Jesus said that on that rock of revelation, He would build His church and

the gates of Hades would not prevail against it. The revelation of Jesus as the Christ is

the cornerstone of building the church. All the revelation that comes from the Father isalso part of the rock that we are to build our lives upon.

The rock that Jesus talked about regarding the keys of the kingdom is not limited to thatspecific revelation that He is the Christ, but the rock is any and every revelation that

the Father gives you. Jesus told us to build the house of our lives upon the rock of

revelation released through His words8

.

Gods living words are spiritual keys released by the Holy Spirit to give you authority

and power to enter into new spiritual places in Christ and advance Gods kingdom on

earth. The gates of hell cannot stand against the church as we wage war properly withthese keys9.

Unfortunately, many church leaders have strayed from totally depending upon the Lordfor revelation and have tried to build the church through business models, church growth

strategies, consumer oriented programming and various marketing techniques. Some

have gotten into carnal competition to grow the biggest church or have the largest

ministry. The gates of hell can prevail over the works of man and we have seen manychurches fail over time because they simply were not built upon His rock of revelation.

Power over the enemy comes from using the revelatory keys God gives us.

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of

his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and

understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the

fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:1,2 (underlining mine)

This passage reveals that the Spirit of counsel works in partnership with the Spirit of

might. When we follow the counsel of the Lord given by a key of revelation, God

releases the might to accomplish His revealed will. Jesus followed the counsel of the

Holy Spirit in His ministry and the mighty power of God was released to accomplishmany miracles.

When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the

saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him,

Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed,

and came back seeing. John 9:6,7

Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing. The Father revealed to Jesus that the key to

release the power of the kingdom to heal this particular blind man was to spit on theground, make clay and anoint the eyes of the blind man with the clay. Then the man was

required to go and wash in the pool of Siloam. When the man obeyed the counsel, hewas healed by the Spirit of might.

The love of the Father for the Son motivates Him to show Him all things that He wants to

do in every situation of life10. We are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus11. God

loves us and will flow His revelation to us so that we have the counsel of heaven to liveas faithful servants before Him. The revelation He gives us is the key for that situation to

unlock the door of heavens resources and bring them into the earth realm through

following the counsel of God.

When our daughter Rebecca entered Jr. High, Glenda and I noticed her passion for the

Lord beginning to fade. Rebecca stopped reading the word and was struggling withloneliness. I had just preached the message on keys to the kingdom and Glenda and I

prayed for Gods key to helping Rebecca. The Lord led us to fast and pray three days.

On the early morning of the third day, I was given a dream by the Lord. In that dream, I

saw Rebecca and the demon that was assaulting her.

When Rebecca came home from school, we gathered together and I told her the dream.

Rebecca confessed her sins and renounced the things that demon was trying to do to her.We bound that demon and commanded him to flee. We could feel a strong angelic

presence in the room and God was setting Rebecca completely free.

The Lord showed me that Rebecca would cry when I hugged her. When I huggedRebecca, who admitted the details of the dream were accurate, the Holy Spirit came over

me and I began to cry and release the compassion of the Lord and His anointing into

Rebecca. She began to cry and I heard the Lord say, Deep cries unto deep12. I

immediately told Rebecca to go deep in the Spirit and she fell down on the couch as she

went under the Holy Spirits influence.

While Rebecca was on the couch, I heard the Lord say that she was called to minister in

the nations. So I prophesied over her that she was called to minister in the nations andthat God was preparing her. At that exact moment, Rebecca went into a vision. In her

vision, she saw Jesus throwing balls of fire onto the earth. Wherever Jesus threw a ball

of fire, revival would break out in that city or region. Then Jesus came to Rebecca and

put a fire ball in her belly and said, Go to the nations now!

The dream I was given was a key to the kingdom of heaven. When we used that key

according to the counsel of God, it bound the enemy and loosed the power of God. Thatkey shut the door to the enemys plans and opened the doors to Gods plans.

The demon that was assaulting Rebecca was bound and shut out of her life. The vision ofGod and impartation of His Spirit was then loosed from heaven and gave Rebecca a

confirmation of her calling to make disciples in the nations. Her passion for God was

restored and immediately she began reading her Bible again and seeking after God withnew resolve. Jesus built part of His church in Rebecca through us and the gate of hell

assaulting our family did not prevail! All glory to God.

Using the keys of the kingdom is extremely practical for parents. We have raised our sixchildren by using revelatory keys and we have been able to watch over them and pray

with authority and power. In order to get those keys from the Lord, we have to be

devoted to prayer and to the study of the word of God. This is our next principle in thewineskin the Lord is releasing.

PRINCIPLE 2 DEVOTED TO PRAYER AND THE WORD IN COMMUNITY

Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, It is not

desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore,

brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy

Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give

ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:2-4

One of the primary dynamics of the first century apostolic wineskin was the simpleprinciple of a community of leaders continually giving themselves over to prayer and the

ministry of the word. Most pastors today are devoted to the ministry of the word. Fewer

are also intensely devoted to prayer. Almost none are devoted to both in community.Jesus Christ, as the cornerstone of His movement, continually devoted Himself to prayer

and ministering the word as well. He did this in the community of His disciples.

Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in

My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before

My anointed forever. I Samuel 2:35

Jesus lived as a faithful priest who always did what was in His Fathers heart and mind.Jesus loved His Father with all His heart, mind, soul and strength. As He spent hours in

prayer, Jesus developed His spiritual senses and was able to discern the Fathers heartand mind each day through various spiritual encounters. Once Jesus received the counsel

of God in prayer, He did what God showed Him to do and the kingdom of power

manifested.

Then Jesus answered and said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can

do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the

Son also does in like manner. John 5:19

The keys that release Gods kingdom dominion for every situation include revelationfrom the Father. Jesus saw and heard in the Spirit what the Father wanted to do each day

as He prayed and sought Gods heart and mind for the day.

Then Jesus said to them, When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that

I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these

things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I

always do those things that please Him. As He spoke these words, many believed in

Him. John 8:28-30

God appoints five-fold ministers to equip the saints to do the works of service 13. Our

primary calling as leaders is not to meet the needs of the community but rather to equipthe saints to meet the needs and do the works of God. In order to do this in Gods way,

we must be extremely devoted to prayer and studying the word of God in a community of

leaders.

PRINCIPLE 3 ASCEND IN WORSHIP

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,

nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness

from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,

who seek Your face. Selah

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And theKing of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and

mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you

everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory?

The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Psalm 4:3-10

God calls us to continually develop and grow in worship. As we ascend in the grace ofworship, He will open up new realms of revelation and we will be transformed by

beholding his glory14. Instead of the pastor seeking to meet the congregations needs,

the leader facilitates anointed worship that enables people to experience face to faceencounters with Jesus. He meets needs in dramatic fashion.

One dear woman who worships with us was grieving the loss of her beloved mother who

recently passed. The enemy tried to put depression on her that our prayers did not seemto move. During prophetic worship, she saw an extended vision of her mother dancing

with Jesus in heaven. Immediately, the heaviness lifted and supernatural joy filled her

heart. Beholding Him face to face transforms us and meets our deepest needs!

The Tabernacle of David

And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: After! this I will

return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will

rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek theLORD, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the LORD who does

all these things. Acts 15:15-17

God is rebuilding the tabernacle of David, 24/7 prophetic praise, worship and prayer, sothat the rest of mankind will seek the Lord. When we lift up Jesus in anointed worship,

the Light of the world establishes His brilliant presence in the spiritual atmosphere above

the region and He begins to draw all men to Himself15. Historical revivals are alwayspreceded by intense seasons of worship and intercession. John the Baptist and his

disciples intercession prepared the way for Jesus first coming.

There are various forms of prophetic worship seen in the Psalms, most of which werewritten in the historical tabernacle David established. One powerful form is high praise

that enables angelic activity to open the heavens and release warfare over our region to

set the captives free from darkness16.

We must continually develop our spiritual senses and skill in worship so that we may

ascend to the heights of heaven and create a spiritual door so that the King of Glory maycome in to our midst and be established as a spiritual light for the region.

True prophetic worshippers are born in Zion and get caught up in the glory of Hispresence17. The Lord birthed me into Zion over 20 years after I was born again. As I

have developed my guitar and piano skills, He has enabled me to flow in deeper levels

prophetic worship. This has helped me to continue to grow in ascending unto the heights

of Zion and to experience incredible revelation.

As He reveals, I sing what I see and watch in amazement as my hands move on the

keyboard with anointed skill playing tunes and sounds. Prophetic people who are born inZion love prophetic worship and can flow in it for hours. Wave upon wave of His

presence flows into the room as His glory builds.

In this kind of worship, we can taste and see that the Lord is good and experience His

glorious presence, visions, impartations, angelic encounters, prophetic experiences,

revelations and know His tangible goodness. Worship services of this new wineskinallow the Apostle and High Priest of our faith to minister to His people.

As our worship continues to ascend and finally reaches the standard of the measure which

is in Christ Jesus, we are creating a door through which the King of Glory may come inwithout bowing down. This is a vital and central part of the end times apostolic

wineskin as you can understand.

PRINCIPLE 4 BE CONVERTED AS LITTLE CHILDREN

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the

kingdom of heaven? Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of

them, and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as

little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore

whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Matthew 18:1-5

Jesus calls us to be converted and become as little children to enter into the kingdom.

This includes repenting of all pride, humbling ourselves and growing to completely

depend upon the Lord for everything. God opposes the pride of man and we can notbuild His Church by the works of our flesh.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in

all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

Little children in solid homes completely trust their parents to take care of them andprovide for their needs. For several months, when worry was assaulting me over

finances, I meditated on this verse as I went to sleep. I kept declaring that my Father wasa good Father and a great provider and that I trusted Him with all my heart. Soon our

situation turned around and God opened His kingdom to us.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and

you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30

Walking yoked with Jesus, partnering with Him is our daily delight. As we walk inagreement with His gentle and humble heart, we become like him. His yoke is easy and

His tasks are light compared to this world. We find complete rest for our souls in

walking under His daily government.

My little children, these things I write to you,.. He who says he abides in Him

ought himself also to walk just as He walked ( I John 2:1a, 6). John calls us little

children and Jesus wants us to be converted to be like them. We are not even bigchildren. Little children are eager to learn, moldable, continuously amazed, creative,

imaginative, hopeful, trusting, delightful, sweet, caring and joyful. When we get old in

spirit, we start to become religious, set in our ways, proud and stubborn. This will not doin entering the kingdom. We must get back to being little children in first love passion

for Jesus and trust Him with all our hearts.

Our Father is infinite and calls us to walk as Jesus walked in perfect dependence upon theHoly Spirit for everything. We can walk in the Spirit doing the works of Jesus and do

greater works throughout the earth through a reformed church that conforms to His new

emerging wineskin18.

PRINCIPLE 5 ABANDONED TO FOLLOW THE ANOINING

These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the

anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need

that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things,

and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

I John 2:26-27

The anointing is a manifestation of the Holy Spirits presence, graces or giftings. TheHoly Spirit will govern our lives as we walk closely with Him. His presence comes into

our gatherings to lead the flow of the meetings. Sometimes, there is a strong healing flow

and at other times, the prophetic or teaching flow is moving. The Holy Spirit can moveas He will in a wineskin that is flexible to flow with Him. When we flow with Him in the

way He wants during our meetings, He is able to release His power to accomplish His

will.

Signs, wonders and miracles are simply a part of who He is and what He does. As we

learn to cooperate with Him, he will teach us how to partner with Him and abide in Him.It is nearly impossible to teach this in a book, but I have tried at great length19.

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of

ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the

same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each

one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit,

to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the

same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working

of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another

different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the

same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

I Corinthians 12:4-11 underlining mine

When we abandon ourselves to flow in the anointing, the Holy Spirit will manifest His

gifts as He wills throughout the body. The skilled leader will recognize how the

anointing is moving and should perceive how the Spirit is touching individuals. The old

wineskin had a preacher doing all the talking and the audience only listening. The newwineskin has the leader facilitating the flow by recognizing what the anointing is calling

for and who is being touched. Often it is as simple as asking who is getting a word or a

vision and allowing the body to minister edification by the gifts as the Holy Spirit isdistributing them at that meeting.

When I lead weekly meetings, it is similar to navigating a boat through an unknown river.

We have to be sensitive to the flow, the currents, the changes and steer the meetingaccordingly. What we plan often does not fit into His plan. Since I am abandoned to

follow the anointing, I always submit my thoughts and plans to the Lord and allow Him

to take over the meeting. Some of our meetings are long by our standards, but everyoneis greatly refreshed at the end because God was at work not man.

PRINCIPLE 6 PERFECT HOLINESS IN THE FEAR OF GOD

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness

of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. II Corinthians 7:1

Knowing the promise of the Fathers love and the manifested presence of His Son

motivates us to continually work at perfecting holiness in the reverent fear of the Lord.

Without Christ-like character development and embracing His cleansing fire, we will not

be able to withstand the pressures of the apostasy and strong delusion of the last days20.

God is raising up radical prophets and apostles like the priest Phineas to help cleanse the

house of God of carnality and mixture. John the Baptist told us that Jesus wouldthoroughly cleanse His threshing floor and He does that by holy fire21.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you,

that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if

you have love for one another (John 13:34,35). Ultimately, holiness is not defined by

what you dont do, but by your Christ-like love for the brethren and the ongoingdevelopment of the fruit of the Spirit in your life. The enemy works hard to divide and

devour the body through faultfinding, offense, criticism and carnal judgment.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who

are Christs have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:22-25

As we walk with the Holy Spirit, yielded to Him and crucifying the passions and desires

of the flesh by daily embracing the cross, the Spirit of God will produce fruit in our lives

that bear witness to the King that we serve22.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to

death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit ofGod, these are sons of God. Romans 8:13-15

Only by daily walking with the Holy Spirit can we put to death the deeds of the body

(flesh) and live unto God. If you are struggling with a besetting sin and are doing a thingyou hate, if you will to do something but dont do it, you are trying to work out your

salvation under the Law 23. It is essential to carefully study Romans 6-8 and get back into

grace. Under grace, we confess our sins and He forgives and cleanses us. The HolySpirit helps us daily reckon the old man crucified with Christ and our new man alive to

God so that we may walk in His holiness.

PRINCIPLE 7 DEVELOP MATURE FAITH AND PATIENCE

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown

toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we

desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope

until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith

and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:10-12 (underlining mine)

Mature faith includes the development of the fruit of the Spirit in the area of patience.My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the

testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that

you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:2-4). Patience isdeveloped through intense testing in the fire of tribulation and difficulties.

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since

he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarahs womb. He did not

waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving

glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also

able to perform. And therefore it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:19-22

Abraham modeled persevering, maturing faith as he did not focus on his own physicallimitations or the deadness of Sarahs womb. Abrahams circumstances in the natural

declared that it was impossible for them to have a baby in their old age. But Abraham

believed Gods promise above the circumstances and developed patience and obtainedthe promise.

We are called to walk as He walked and believe God for the impossible when naturalrealities dictate otherwise. Gods word supersedes all natural laws and He will bring His

word to pass in season as we hold on in faith and make our confessions24 and

declarations.

One of the tendencies of new moves of the Holy Spirit is that impatient individuals,

myself included, often fail to wait and persevere in prayer allowing God to bring it to

fullness. God was planning to raise up David as His king over Israel. The peoplebecame impatient and demanded a king who was unprepared25. They ended up with Saul

and the witchcraft and control that came with him.

Abraham had his Ishmael and the strife among Arab nations and against Israel (Isaacs

seed) has been intense and horrible for thousands of years. We must learn this principle

and avoid the impatience so that we can bring to maturity what God wants to accomplish

in the end times. We can never accomplish Gods will faster than embracing patienceand waiting on His revelation, interpretation, application and timing.

PRINCIPLE 8 BETROTH THE BODY UNTO CHRIST

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one

husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. II Corinthians 11:2

True apostolic leadership betroths the body unto Christ. To betroth is to engage or

present and equip the believers to walk under the headship of Jesus the Bridegroom.

Leaders of churches, we usually call pastors, often have subconsciously desired to have

a certain following for their ministries. Some become jealous and controlling over thesheep and can abuse them or those who leave with harsh criticism.

It has always upset me when I hear someone talk of Sams church or Johns churchwhen referring to the flock a pastor has stewardship over. Unfortunately, many times it is

the leaders church and not Gods. The principle of betrothing the body to Christ is so

simple and yet so seldom properly applied. Leaders can easily fall into carnality bycomparing the size, budget, facilities and accomplishments of their church to someone

elses church. Paul told us this was foolish pride in operation. For we dare not classourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they,

measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves,

are not wise (II Corinthians 10:12,13).

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and

some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of

the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of

the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and

carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning

craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all

things into Him who is the head -- Christ -- from whom the whole body, joined and

knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by

which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itselfin love. Ephesians 4:11-16

Five-fold leaders must equip the body to love God with all their hearts, minds, souls and

strength until they mature to be like Jesus. They must teach the believers to be priestsunto God and flow ministry out of those times in His secret place. The leadership of the

end-times wineskin will keep the focus on intimacy with Jesus, beholding His glory and

being transformed in His presence26.

Leaders will equip the saints to walk yoked with Jesus in His perfect yoke for them27.

That yoke will match their giftings and callings with His perfect will, not placing them in

mismatched positions to serve the pastors goals. Every joint will supply as they areequipped to abide in Christ and walk in agreement with Jesus.

PRINCIPLE 9 SECURE IN GODS PERFECT LOVE

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of

judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but

perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not

been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. I John 4:17-19

God wants His church to be secure in His perfect love which comes by knowing and

believing the benefits of His new covenant which He accomplished in Christ at the cross.When the body grows in becoming secure in His perfect love, the enemy cannot

intimidate or control them through fear.

We are only able to walk in faith or fear at any given time. Faith comes by hearing God

by His Spirit and His word. Faith works by love. When we intimately know His love it

enables our faith to preserver in the trial and testing stage. Unfortunately, all of us wereraised by imperfect parents and experienced some degrees of childhood hurts and pains.

Many have suffered tremendous abuse and horrific emotional damage.

But thanks be to God that through the perfect work of the cross, everyone can be saved,

healed, delivered, regenerated, sanctified, cleansed and made whole. This process takestime and it is essential for the leadership to create an atmosphere of loving safety so new

believers can have time to experience His unconditional love through the body.

About Benjamin he said: Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he

shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.

Deuteronomy 33:12 NIV

Benjamin means son of the right hand and is a prototype of the end-times apostolicchurch (Paul was of this tribe28). As the last born son of Jacob (Israel), Benjamin also

represents apostles. Joseph, the older brother, represents end time prophets. Rachel

birthed Joseph years before as the prophetic proceeds the apostolic. As Jacob wastraveling back to the Promised Land, he told everyone to get rid of their idols. Rachel,

who represents the institutional mother church, hid her household idols in her saddle

bags29.

She was unable to move into the next level of Gods calling because of it and died giving

birth to Benjamin. The old church wineskin is now birthing Benjamin, the end-times

apostles. In the process, churches and believers who do not give up hidden idolatry willnot progress into the final stage of Gods work as we enter into His Promised Land where

the Bride makes herself ready for the return of the Bridegroom.

PRINCIPLE 10 BELIEVE AND FOLLOW THE PROPHETIC

So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as

they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants

of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe

His prophets, and you shall prosper. II Chronicles 20:20

The end times church will advance against Gods enemies and accomplish the Lords will

by earnestly seeking and following His prophetic voice. God continues to reveal specificaspects of His will through His servants, the prophets and prophetic intercessors.

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously

made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. I Timothy

1:18

God instructed Timothy to wage the good warfare according to the prophecies made over

his life. Timothy needed to pray those words and declare them giving glory to God that

He was going to fulfill them. The fulfillment of those prophetic words did not exist in thenatural realm yet, but God calls those things that do not exist as though they did 30. Our

job is to agree with Gods prophetic word and start declaring the things God has said as ifthey were already done. That kind of faith declaration activates angelic activity to make

it manifest since they obey the voice of His word31.

Pentecost reveals a principle to enable us to receive revelation. The 120 gathered in

corporate prayer, humbling themselves before the Lord, fasting and earnestly seeking hisface. If you carefully read Joel 2:12-28, you will notice that the Holy Spirit is poured out

afterward. The context indicates that what comes before the outpouring is fasting,

weeping, intense prayer, repentance, humbling oneself, corporate crying out to God andso forth. A broken and contrite heart, God will not despise.

This kind of humbling of oneself plows up the ground of the heart to enable therevelation seed of the word to go into good soil. The principle always works in Gods

time. If you humble yourself before the Lord, rend your heart and fully turn to Him and

wait on Him, He will be gracious to you and pour out His Spirit on you by giving you a

prophetic word of revelation. That word is a key that will enable you and empower youto move forward into your destiny. Put that revelation word in your mouth and decree it

by Gods Spirit. That is exactly what happened at Pentecost as they humbled themselves

and prayed. Peter understood by the Spirit what was happening and declared the word ofthe Lord. His preaching had extraordinary power to bring in a harvest of three thousand

souls on that day alone. Revelation keys are given and powerful ministry is released

today as we wait upon Him in humble adoration and prayer.

Birthing Prophetic Words Through Prayer

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the LORD

God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years,

except at my word. I Kings 17:1

God gave Elijah tremendous anointing, authority and power to control the naturalweather pattern over Israel by his prophetic voice. Elijah said that there would be no dew

or rain except at my word. That is an amazing declaration! God led Elijah to declare

this and backed up his word. Three and a half years later, Gods Spirit led Elijah toprophesy the release of rain to Ahab. And it came to pass after many days that the

word of the LORD came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, Go, present yourself to

Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth (I Kings 18:1).

God demonstrates His partnership with man in this incredible story of Elijah, the holy

prophet, and the double minded King Ahab. The Lord told Elijah to present himself to

Ahab and God promised to send rain on the earth. Earlier, we noted that Elijah declaredthat it would only rain at Elijahs word. Elijah developed a pure obedience to God and

only released the words that God put into His mouth. Elijahs word was Gods word and

was given in Gods time under Gods anointing. Elijah heard the Lords directive wordand promise and then he heard the sound in the spiritual realm of the abundance of rain.

Then Elijah said to Ahab, Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of

abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the

top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between hisknees, and said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. So he went up

and looked, and said, There is nothing. And seven times he said, Go again.

Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, There is a cloud, as small as a

mans hand, rising out of the sea! So he said, Go up, say to Ahab, Prepare your

chariot, and go down before the rain stops you. Now it happened in the meantime

that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So

Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the LORD came upon

Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

I Kings 18:41-46

God told Elijah to go and prophesy to Ahab that rain would now come after a longdrought. Elijah heard the sound of the abundance of rain in the spirit realm and declared

the word to Ahab. But Elijah was then required to birth that prophetic word by prevailing

intercession until there was a manifestation in the natural realm. This is where many

Christians fall short of obtaining the promises and prophetic words of God. Elijah boweddown and prayed intensely seven times. Seven is a complete divine number. That means

that we must pray by the Spirit as long as the Spirit requires to the fullness of prayer that

is needed. How do we know when we have prayed enough? When you see thebeginning manifestation in the natural realm as Elijah did. This is known as the prayer of

faith that James refers to in his exhortations to elders to heal the sick by anointing them

with oil and praying effectual prayers of fervent intercession32.

PRINCIPLE 11 SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.

Matthew 4:1,2

Jesus began His ministry in spiritual warfare against the devil. Through His overcoming

prayers, He bound the strongman so He could plunder his goods by casting out demons

and bringing souls to faith in Himself33. When we fully yield to the Holy Spirit, He willeventually lead us into a wilderness season where we have to overcome the enemy.

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples,

Sit here while I go and pray over there. And He took with Him Peter and the two

sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said

to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with

Me. Matthew 26:36-38

The end of Jesus life on earth included tremendous spiritual warfare praying in theGarden of Gethsemane to the point where He resisted Satan and sin to the point of

shedding His blood34. The life of walking with Jesus today includes a great deal ofspiritual warfare from beginning to end. It always intrigues me how doctrines of demons

permeate whole denominations that say that we dont have to do any spiritual warfaretoday and that this kind of activity is dangerous and stirs up evil things. The New

Testament teaches the exact opposite!

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on

the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against

powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of

wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that

you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Ephesians 6:10-13

We dont wrestle against flesh and blood in our spiritual warfare, but we do wrestle

against principalities and powerful spiritual beings in high places. God gives us angelichelp35, but we are required to put on His full armor and fight the good fight of faith

through praise, worship, intercession and various prophetic acts as sons of God 36. We are

more than conquerors through Him and He always leads us in His triumph37. God isgoing to put His enemies under the feet of Jesus. We are the feet of Jesus on earth until

He comes back since we are the body of Christ and He is our head38.

PRINCIPLE 12 PRACTICAL WISDOM

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound

mind. II Timothy 1:7

God is going to bring the body of Christ into the soundness of mind which is the mind of

Christ. Practical wisdom and understanding is filling His body through anointed five-

fold leaders. Beyond that, the Holy Spirit is pouring out the wisdom that Solomon

walked in so that the body of Christ might step into greater authority, wisdom and graceto demonstrate the glory of God to a lost world. Our Father is after a massive world-

wide harvest before Jesus returns. He will accomplish this by releasing heavenly

wisdom to access resources, anointing and power to get the job done.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. The fear

of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the

perverse mouth, do I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am

understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By

me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. I love them that love

me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honor are with me; yea,

durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold;and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst

of the paths of judgment: that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance;

and I will fill their treasuries. Proverbs 8:12-21 KJV

God is going to fill our treasuries with His wealth as we love wisdom and therighteousness of God in Christ. We will understand the word of God like never before

and have the practical wisdom not to uproot tares with wheat until its time 39. Christian

leaders will forsake mans ways and learn to navigate in the anointing. They will allowevery joint in the body to supply and edify itself. The body will come into blessed unity

by the Spirit into the bond of peace. Our Fathers house will be called a house of prayer

for all nations as the Church finally learns to pray in one accord with Him who ever livesto make intercession for us.

We will not be ignorant of Satans schemes any more and people will stop perishing

because of a lack of knowledge40. We will forsake all foolishness and pride anddiligently seek wisdom in all things. We will learn to wait upon the Lords counsel and

will not do anything on our own initiative or for our own selfish pleasure.

The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish all this and more as He pours out His Spirit

on all flesh41. Those who respond in repentance and faith will experience everlasting life

in the glorious end-times harvest. Those who refuse will be lost forever. Lets be about

following His principles and forming a wineskin to contain His incredible wine in thishour.
