MSIP 5 Definitions

• MSIP 5 measures five standards. Academic Achievement, Subgroup Achievement, College and Career Readiness, Attendance, and Graduation Rate.

• MPI – MAP Performance Index

• APR – Annual Progress Report

• Status – Points automatically awarded for having a three year average score above 300

• EOC – End of Course exams administered only at the high school level

• MAP – Missouri Assessment Program administered only in grades 3 - 8

• ELA 9 MPI – 318.4

• ELA 10 MPI – 344.3

• ELA 9 – six high schools increased their MPI

• ELA 10 - all high schools increased their MPI

• All four unaccredited high schools demonstrated growth in both ELA 9 & 10

• Geometry MPI – 331.3

• In Algebra 1 & Geometry – six high schools increased their MPI

• All four unaccredited high schools demonstrated growth in both Algebra I and Geometry

Key Performance Indicators:

• Five high schools maintained their MPI or increased

• The number of students that took the state assessment increased

• This content did not make significant growth and will be a focus for the next school year
