PLACE : SHREE CHANDRAPRABHU JAIN COLLEGE (Minjur)

PROJECT : SELF EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAM

On March 8th and 9th 2013 in hands with Rotaract Club of Shree Chandraprabhu

Jain College we conducted Entrepreneurship training on basket weaving & Crafts for

self home women’s group of 55 members from Minjur in their College premises.

DATE : March 14th 2013 TIME : 10.30 am PLACE : Chellammal Womens College PROJECT : WOMEN SAFETY AND SELF-DEFENCE

On March 14th, in hands with Rotaract Clubs of Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari

College for Women and Chellammal College for Women, we conducted a seminar on

Women Safety. The speaker for the day was Dr. Venugopal, Asst. Professor from

Department of Legal Studies, University of Madras. We conducted the project at the

premises of the Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari College for Women, and more than 200

Women rotaractors took place in the project.

TIME : 10.30 am PLACE : MNM Jain Engineering College PROJECT : CAREER GUIDANCE

On March 16th, in hands with Rotaract Clubs of Guru Nanak College, MNM Jain

Engineering College and TS Narayanasami College, we conducted seminars on Career

Guidance to the women Rotaractors at MNM Jain Engineering College. We had

sessions for Commerce, Science and Maths group by threespeakers.

Mr. Palanisami from Baradwaj Institute took a session on M.Com, MBA, Social Work,

MA, IAS, IPS, ICWA, CA & CS. Mr. Suresh from Accentureand Mr. Bukrudeen from

NIIT gave brief on how to choose the career path. More than 70 students

were benefitted from the project.

DATE : March 20th 2013 TIME : 10.30 am PLACE : GOVT HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (MARAIMALAINAGAR) PROJECT : HEALTH CAMPAIGN

On March 20th, in hands with Rotaract Clubs of C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy

and AM Jain College, we conducted health campaign for working women at Maraimalai Nagar.

The health tests on haemoglobin, Blood pressure and Blood Sugar level were performed by the

professionals of Chettinad Health City. Along with the health test we also

gave counselling to them about the nutrition diet, breast cancer and stress relief. We

distributed the nutrition chart and glucose to the patients. 60 plus working women were

benefited. Rotarians from Maraimalai Nagar also visited the project.

PLACE : Saranalaya Home (Thandalam)

PROJECT : SEX EDUCATION

On March 23rd, in hands with Rotaract Clubs of Mar Gregorious College and St.

Joseph College, we conducted counselling on sex education to the girl students of

Saranalaya Home located at Thandalam. The counselling was performed by Lavanya

form CHES organisation. We had an interactive session for 15 girl children and

explained them the good and the bad touch through counselling.

PROJECT : SPONSORING SEWING MACHINE

We sponsored sewing machine to two underprivileged women. The

sewing machine given at the time of Valedictory ceremony of Enaintha Kaigal.

PROJECT : ENAINTHA KAIGAL VALEDICTORY

After all the successful deliverables of our projects we had our valedictory

ceremony at Arkay Convensention centre, Chief guest for the valedictory is Rtn

Ganesan Guest of hounour Rtn Fukrudeen. Valedictory also felicitated by DRR Afser

Ali., DDRE Ramkumar Raju DDRN Arjun Raja. We thanked all the speakers of Enaintha

kaigal with citation also we recognized all the Enaintha kaigal club presidents,

secretaries and coordinators with citation.
