Mission: clean water

Krchers takes its commitment to protecting the environment and

nature seriously. For example, we suppor t the Global Nature Fund.

The Global Nature Fund is an independent international foundat ion

which, amongst other things, is committed to improving the quality

of water in rivers and lakes, a topic which is of course very close to

Krchers heart as a leading cleaning specialist. The partnership

project Clean Water for the World, the aim of which is to sustainably

promote cleaner inland waters through natural water filtration sys-

tems, is a good example of successful teamwork. Water filtration

systems, also known as green f iltration systems, are water chan-

nels, the surface of which is covered with floating aquatic plants.

The plants metabolic processes cause organic substances found

in waste water to break down naturally. The projects first water

filtration system was bui lt in Bolivia in 2012. On the one hand, the

system promotes biodiversity amongst fauna and flora; on the other

hand, it improves sanitary conditions and therefore makes a critical

contribution to improving the quality of life of the people in this region.

Other water filtration systems are already being planned for imple-

mentation worldwide. For every eco!ogic pressure washer sold,

additional money goes to the pioneering Clean Water for the World

project.

Responsibility to people and nature

Krcher places huge importance on healthy, sustainable growth.

As wel l as consistently taking env ironmental considerat ions into

account, Krcher is also aware of its corporate social responsibility.

Our global commitment ranges from supporting social projects as

part of local and regional initiatives to helping victims of natural

disasters. Since 2011, Krcher has been supporting the global aid

organization SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. Treating people and the environ-

ment responsibly is deeply rooted in Krchers code of conduct.

The code is heavily based on the UN Global Compact, in which

Krcher has par ticipated since 2011, and is binding for all of our

locations as well as for all of our suppliers. As part of its ecologically

sound approach to resources, Krcher is constantly promoting its

energy-saving measures. Our heat recovery systems are extremely

efficient. For example, the waste heat from our plastic injection

moulding machines heat an adjoining building. This gives an

annual saving of 19,000 litres of heating oil and 51,300 kg of CO 2,

which is equivalent to the emissions of a medium-sized car travel-

ling 225,000 km. An environmentally friendly combined heat and

power plant saves up to 56 % CO2compared to previous gas

heating. A geothermal plant uses geothermal energy to provide

heating in the winter and air-conditioning in the summer. This

means over 80 % of a buildings energy needs are covered by

renewable sources. The woodchip heating plant alone saves

340,000 litres of heating oil and over 1 milli on kg of CO2

per

annum. These are all measures which serve to protect the

environment and ultimately our welfare.

Our environmental tip

Pressure washers save up to 3,100 litres of water per

hour compared to cleaning with a water hose! Water is

becoming increasingly scarce. For this reason Krcher

has always strived to conserve this vital resource as

much as possible. Krche rs continual development of

pressure washer technology ensures good cleaning results with low

water consumption. In comparison to cleaning with a water hose,

Krcher pressure washers use around 80 % less water. This is good

for the environment while it also saves money.

Environmentally compatible

The K 3 7 Krcher pressures can also use inexpensive

process water. To do this they take in the water from a

water tank or reservoir, e.g. a rain barrel or water butt.

This saves expens ive dr inking water and is good for the

environment. Another advantage is that no water tap is

needed.

Krchers high-quality eco!ogic units are market leaders in terms of environmental friendliness. They make it possible to use

water according to specific needs, which reduces water consumption. Innovative technology and intelligent solutions facilitate

the ideal handling of resources. The units of the eco!ogic Range consist of approx. 60 % recycled material, and they contain

no phthalates or PVC. The packaging is made of FSC cardboard, and no styrofoam is used.

The eco! mode of the K 3 to K 7 units reduces water

consumption by 20 %. The eco! mode is ideal for cleaning

jobs that require less water e.g. cleaning cars, bicycles or

garden furniture. The K 2 is also designed to save water.

10 % less water is used thanks to the optimised nozzle

technology.

Save electricity

The eco! mode of the K 3 to K 7 units reduces energy

consumption by 20 %. Users can decide for themselves

when to use the eco! mode to save water and energy. Even

the K 2 cuts energy consumption by around 10 %

due to its optimised nozzle technology.

Responsible selection of materials used

Krcher carefully selects the materials used in their units,

and in doing so takes steps to ensure environmental

compatibility while avoiding the use of hazardous materials

such as phthalate and PVC.

Conserves resources

Almost 60 % of the plast ic components used in Krcher

products are recycled. The packaging cons ists of 50 %

recycled material, and no styrofoam is used. The other

50 % comes from sustainable forestry. All of the surfactants

contained in Krcher eco!ogic cleaning agents consist of

renewable resources that are free of crude oil.

Like all Krcher pressure washers, the eco!ogic units

K 3 to K 7 are equipped with the patented nozzle

technology that makes them a perfect match for

pumps. This is a decisive contribution to the respon-

sible handling of valuable resources. In comparison

to the competition Krcher machines feature a higher

removal rate and cleaning efficiency. This means that

you can clean up to 50 % more quickly, saving up

to 50 % in terms of energy and water remarkable

As well as a modern design, the X-Range offer extremely practical advantages, such as short set-up times and a high level of

user-friendliness. The X-Range is available across all existing Krcher performance categories. From 100 to 160 bar, there is a

perfect device for any application. Whereas the K 2 entry level models still use universal motors, as of performance class K 3 all

devices in the X-Range are fitted with superior performance water-cooled motors that have a particularly long service life.

Plug n Clean system delightfully easy to change

Thanks to the new, extremely convenient system, cleaning agents

can be used in the X-Range machines with a flick of a wrist, saving

filling time and without any drips. No more spills, guaranteed! Just

remove the old bottle, put the new one in and you are ready to go.

Its even easy to change from one cleaning agent to another and

you always know which one you are using! Cleaning agents can

also be used with entry-level devices, for example using a detergent

tank or suction hose.

Hose and power cord recoil function

With all X-Range models, the high-pressure hose can be stored

directly on the device once work has been finished. Small devices

have generously-sized hose hooks or a flexible pouch on the rear-

side of the device. Premium models have a hose recoil function

built into the devices handle, which enables the high-pressure

hose to be stored extremely neatly and easily. For recoiling the

power cord easily, two devices in the K 6 and K 7 categories even

have an automatic power cord recoil function a quick pull and

the power cord vanishes inside the dev ice.

Quick Connect a strong connection

Its all about good connections even for pressure washers. With

Quick Connect, Krcher offers its customers a user-friendly and

speedy connection system. The high-pressure hose can be easily

connected to the gun and the device, and released again at the push

of a button, making it quick and easy to store. All Krcher pressure

washers for private garden use can be retrofitted with the Quick

Connect set for a small cost. So even users of older models can

benefit from the advantages of the patented Quick Connect system.

Safely stored away

Thanks to the clever accessories storage, the gun, two lances, the

power cord and the hose can all be safely stored away on the device,

so that theyre always ready to hand. Whether its a hard case or a soft

bag, there is always storage space, for example for brush accessories.

simply pulled out from the device, placed in a bottle of Krcher

cleaning agent, and then the low pressure sucks the cleaning agent

Hard surface cleaners.

Hard surface cleaners make cleaning any outside surface quick, efficient and splash-free.

Compared to working with a spray lance, using a hard surface cleaner takes around half the

time. The convenient handle means that even vertical surfaces can be cleaned in the blink of

an eye. The T 300 Plus and T 400 Plus models are height adjustable for controlling the cleaning

intensity for more sensitive surfaces (e.g. wood). In addition, the Plus versions are equipped
