PRODUCT KEY Attaching the mirror

1. Unsnap the green arch at the top left corner of the mat.

2. Insert the green arch through the loop on the mirror. (Fig. 2).

3. Connect the arches to the play mat by inserting them into the fabric loops and snapping their tips at the blanket's corners. (Fig. 3).

4. Secure the mirror to the play mat using the velcro tie. (Fig. 4).

Raise the position of the arches so that the arches cross over the center of the blanket, and snap together. (Fig. 5).

GETTING STARTED

Playing with your GYMINI®

Open your GYMINI® by unsnapping the two snaps on each side of the blanket. The GYMINI® will “pop” open and will be ready for play (Fig. 1). Fig. 3

Lay your baby on her tummy on the pillow. You can place the monkey in front of your baby or position your baby in front of the mirror. (Fig. 8)

AS A CHANGING PAD

You may use the play mat as a changing pad for your baby - simply unsnap the arches at the top, and lower them. To re-assemble, pull the arches up and snap them back together on top. (Fig. 9). Fig. 9

FOR TUMMY TIME

Lower the position of the arches to a point where they are drawn to one side of the blanket, and snap together. (Fig. 7).

USING THE PLAY MATFOR BACK TIME

Lay your baby on her back. She can reach up and play with the dangling toys above her. (Fig. 6).

1. Open the velcro flap located under the monkey and pull out the battery compartment. Be sure to switch the unit to “off” position before changing batteries. (Fig. 10).

2. Turn the unit over. Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the cover of the battery compartment. Take out the old batteries and be sure to discard the batteries in a safe and appropriate manner. (Fig. 11).

3. Insert 3 new AAA (1.5 v) alkaline batteries. Place the cover back on and tighten the screws. (Fig. 12).

4. Insert the battery compartment into the bottom of the monkey with the ON/OFF switch facing front. (Fig. 13).

5. Close the velcro flap to properly secure battery compartment.

6. Remove the batteries for long term storage.

FOR BACK TIME

When baby is laying on her back, clip the monkey onto the arches so that the monkey is above and within reach. (Fig. 14).

FOR TUMMY TIME

When your baby is lying on her tummy, place the monkey in front of her so she can reach it. (Fig. 15).

When you want to store your Gymini®, or take it with you, folding is easy. With the arches and the design side of the blanket facing away from you, simply fold in half by bringing the two sides with the snaps together, snap closed - and you’re done. (Fig. 16).

And don’t forget these safety rules:1. Make sure to dispose of plastic tab attaching the

monkey to its packaging.

2. Batteries should be replaced by adults only.

3. Do not mix old and new batteries.

4. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

5. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.

6. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

7. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

8. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.

9. Do not burn batteries. Dispose of batteries in a safe and appropriate manner.

10. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.

11. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

12. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

13. For your child’s safety do not modify or alter this product in any way.

PLAYING WITH THE MUSIC & LIGHTS MONKEY

WARNING: When first opening your new Gymini® Monkey Island, make sure to dispose of the clear plastic tab attaching the monkey to its packaging – it may be hazardous to your baby.

When playing with the monkey make sure the ON/OFF switch, (located on the bottom side of the monkey), is turned “ON”. When you or your baby taps the monkey, it will display blinking lights on its stomach and play a musical tune.

CHANGING/INSERTING BATTERIES FOR MONKEY

Note: The batteries included in this toy are trial batteries (made for trying the toy in the store before purchase) and are not intended for long term use. We recommend that you change the batteries shortly after taking your Gymini® home.

Note: Only the play mat may be washed.

1. Remove the mirror and all other accessory clippings from the arches.

2. Detach the arches from all four corners of the blanket.

3. Machine or hand wash the blanket in cold water, no bleach, and then line dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry, do not dry clean.

4. To clean the accessory toys and mirror, wipe with a damp cloth.

Folding the Play MatOnce the music and lights stop, the music and blinking lights will play again only when the monkey is tapped again. Remember to always switch the monkey to “OFF” position when monkey is not in use.
