TRANSCRIPT
Our Women’s Initiative recognizes the vital role women play in the legal field
specifically and the business space in general, as well as challenges they face in
work-life management. We offer professional development opportunities and events
designed to increase leadership roles for female attorneys and law students.
Husch Blackwell has also achieved the Mansfield Certification Plus designation from
Diversity Lab, which means that we consider at least 30% women or diverse
attorneys for 70% or more of the firm’s leadership positions.

True North is a program of our Women’s Initiative
where women throughout the firm are encouraged
to host local programs to advance the firm’s
female attorneys and clients through professional
growth and networking. This collaboration fosters
relationships that benefit attorneys at all
experience levels.
We provide local office and firmwide leadership
development, coaching and sponsorship programs to our
women lawyers throughout the year. One of the most
promising programs is our Sponsorship Initiative for
gifted female and minority attorneys at the senior
associate or junior partner level. The initiative matches
each participant (“protégé”) with a formal “sponsor”— a
senior attorney who has an organic working relationship
with the protégé and has committed to helping the
protégé advance.
