Every private or public activity generates risk to staff. For several years now the protection of health and safety has become an essential concept in legislation as well as for organizations.
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ORGANIZATION ???
‘ASTORION’ PROVIDE SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK:
All employees of Astorion must know their rights and responsibilities regarding their safety and health at work.
All employees have entitlement to rest breaks and paid vacations.
They should be aware of the general laws applicable to them.
In the case of corporations that produce large items the health and safety at work for, Astorion staff may involve the right foot gear, shades, ear protectors and other protecting apparel.

ASTORION’S MANAGEMENT ROLE IN EMPLOYEE SAFETY:
There are a number of strategies that can be used
by Astorion to ensure a healthy and safe
Workplace.
SUPERVISOR’S ROLE IN EMPLOYEE SAFETY:
They monitor their workplaces frequently to identify unsafe or unhealthful conditions.
Take prompt action to correct hazardous conditions. If a serious hazard is detected take immediate interim
action to safeguard employees. Encourage employees to report unsafe or unhealthful
conditions. Seek suggestions from employees for improvement of
workplace conditions. They investigate workplace mishaps and take prompt
corrective action necessary.

Every organization may have workplace violence. It may arise due to conflict between employees or misunderstanding between the management and employees. But in Astorion there is equal cooperation between Male and Female employees. There is no gender discrimination as well as no working violence. The management authority of the Astorion has keen observance to ensure stable and calm working environment.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY IN ASTORION:
There is enough air ventilation system in the whole
office. The office is fully Air Conditioned including
proper indoor and outdoor lighting system. So we can
say the Indoor Air Quality of this organization is good.
Smoke Free EnvironmentThe company authority has been ensured the smoke
free environment in whole office and their showroom.
Moreover there is smoking zone facilities for the
people who want to smoke.
EAP (EMPLOYEES ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS)
EAP (Employees Assistance Programs)
Employee assistance program means to help deal
with employee’s personal problems; more companies
are implementing that EAP program. In this purpose
the Astorion provides good cooperation and
facilities to their employees regarding face their
personal problems. In example they give financial
assistance to their employees when they needed.
However they also give mental support to motivate
their workers, give vacation to solve their problem.
CONCLUSION
We have tried to focus on the main consequences of
the EHS environment of that organization. After
reviewing this assignment we could say that the EHS
of this organization is merely good though they need
to overcome their few limitations to enhance their
working environment.
