Our 2” or 2 ¼” profile design has approximately 25% more strength than a flat panel or plywood and has been engineered to meet the most stringent wind codes in the country. They have been reviewed and accepted by the Miami-Dade Product Control Division, Florida Building Code, and International Building Code.

Durable, light-weight protection

Made from extruded polycarbonate, our clear Protexan Storm Panels offer high velocity hurricane zone protection with a view. These panels are extremely lightweight and offer good light transmission. Our Clear Protexan panels are warrantied for 10 years against yellowing and breaking and can cover heights of up to 240 inches when used with storm bars.

Ease of Installation

Your entire house can be secured in as little as one hour. Our panels are designed to slip into an upper header track and fasten to a lower track with washer-based wing nuts. Tracks are available in white or bronze finish and come in a variety of different types to accommodate your window or door opening. Panels can also be attached directly to the wall without tracks by concrete anchor and stainless steel screws.
