TEACHING Organization of a collective training course Coordinator of an ANGD-CNRS training course on “Spectroscopy imaging data processing” from 18 to 22 October 2010 at the SOLEIL Synchrotron

This session aimed at training participants on spectroscopy imaging data processing using different software packages to enable them to extract maximum information from their data. The training was focused on imaging techniques using synchrotron radiation and/or laboratory sources: microfluorescence X, nuclear microprobes (micro-PIXE and RBS), micro-RAMAN spectrometry, micro-FTIR spectrometry, scanning transmission X-ray microscopy (STXM) and micro-XANES mapping.

Twenty trainees (PhD students, researchers) from different organizations (CNRS, universities, CEA, École des Mines, etc.) and 16 trainers participated in this course.
