DESCRIPTION

I make contemporary jewellery and objects inspired by the experience we get from interacting with objects. Size, shape, weight, and texture is my primary focus as I explore casting materials and seamless fixings that form interesting and interactive objects with an honesty to form and material. Living in a culture focused on our visual sense, I strive to point our attention to the more primitive senses; hearing and touch. The way something looks is equally as important as how something feels and sounds. For me, keeping to simple forms allows me to explore the non-visual aspects of jewellery and offer the wearer a richer experience.
