EMBEDDING DYNAMICS AX DATA IN
POWERPOINT
Dynamics AX | Microsoft Office | PowerPoint
Since we are able to access Dynamics AX data directly from Excel, then why shouldn’t you use it within PowerPoint so that you can save time manually cutting and pasting your graph data like you have probably done in the past.
In this example we will show how you can create dynamic presentations in PowerPoint that accesses data directly from Dynamics AX 2012 using the new Office integration tabs.

Create A Dynamics
Query in Excel
Now select the fields that you want to report on.
Note: Because we are going to convert this to a Pivot Chart, you can choose as many fields as you like – you don’t have to use them all.

Excel Pivot Chart
We don’t like the format of the bar chart too much, and would rather convert it into a pie.
