AccreditationThe University of Pittsburgh is one of the 16 founding members of the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Today, AACSB International is the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting. AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

FacultyKatz professors create business knowledge that is in demand for corporations, organizations, and government agencies around the globe. Ninety-seven percent of faculty members have PhDs, and most are experienced in the business world. Our professors are widely quoted in top media outlets including the Financial Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times, and they are published extensively in the top research journals of their respective fields.

Admissions RequirementsCandidates are evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Minimum of five years professional experience, although 10 years is preferred, as the average student has 14 years of experience.

• Position in a managerial role. Individuals who are re-entering the workforce or encountering a career transition should contact the program for more information.

• Proficiency in English.

The following application materials are required: application, two letters of recommendation, self-nomination letter, official transcript, and résumé.

Admissions Process and DeadlinesAdmissions are made on a rolling basis, thus completed applications are reviewed as they are submitted. The next program launches in May 2015.

Tuition and ScholarshipsKatz EMBA is priced competitively at the global level and delivers a high return on investment in comparison to similarly ranked programs. A variety of scholarships are available, based on merit and need.

Tuition is $70,000 (USD) for the entire program, payable in five installments. The tuition covers all courses, textbooks, study materials, hotel rooms and group transportation for the Global Executive Forums in international locations. Students are responsible for travel expenses for the Global Executive Forums.
