Mrs Stevenson’s Retirement Afternoon Tea

Parents are invited to bring a plate and come to the hall on Tuesday afternoon, 13th December to celebrate Mrs Stevenson’s retirement.

There is a case of chicken pox in the school. If your child is in the at risk group, please take appropriate steps for your protection.

Instrument Registration and Servicing

Please make sure ALL instruments are at school on Monday 5th December.

Year 6 Fete

The year 6 Fete is tomorrow from 11am. All students may wear mufti with closed in shoes and covered shoulders. Extra coupons will be available from the office in the morning if required.

Thank you to all the families who donated to our White Elephant Stall. There are now many wonderful items for the children to choose from!

Extension Studies Georgie and I have just finished a semester of Extension Studies at Balgowlah Boys High. It gave us lots of opportunities to participate in activities such as rocket building, crime solving and disecting brains. We made a lot of new friends and exercised our brains every Tuesday. We went on excursions to the Zoo to learn about ecosystems and Luna Park to learn about gravity and forces. The three extension classes got together for Medieval Day and our graduation ceremony last week, when we performed scenes from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Extension has taught us so much and I would recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to go. Chelsea

Outside of these times - We realise that it's not always possible for parents to be at school, so we have an order system through the painted Kookaburra box in the school office. Each week the box is cleared, orders filled and delivered to the staff room and then to your child's classroom via their respective teachers. We accept credit card, cash or cheques. Order forms can be found on the school website. To view details of the Uniform Shop, log on to the school website.

Reminder for children entering year 3 in 2017 – From year 3 children can wear caps instead of the slouch hats so if you need a new hat please order as soon as possible. We have a great team of 12 volunteers who assist in the operation of the uniform shop. We're always delighted to introduce new volunteers.
