2003–2004 Student Chapter Award Winners

A&WMA takes pride in supporting our futureenvironmental leaders in research, teaching,engineering, and environmental practice. For more

than a decade, the Association has awarded 71 scholarshipstotaling $260,250 to the most promising environmental stu-dents. This year, A&WMA is pleased to add $17,000 to thattotal by recognizing the following six students chosen by theScholarship Awards Committee:

Accepting the award for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, wereDr. Terry Miller and Luis Alonso Diaz Robles.

Accepting the award for California Polytechnic State University, SanLuis Obispo, were Lauren Wild and Dr. Hal Cota.

T he Air & Waste Management Association’s StudentChapter Awards recognize outstanding achievementby a student chapter. The 2003–2004 winners were

announced at the Honors & Awards Luncheon held during the97th Annual Conference in Indianapolis, IN.
