Charlesworth Park Sign

Waiting to hear back from Image Signs, email did not go through so called them today. Signs have gone up by $3000. Original quote was $15850, now over $18000. Will talk to partner and see if they can honor quote from last year, may be a bit of an increase due to changes from last year. We need to let him know when to start the project. Will ensure it says Ellerslie Community League. Can resurface other sign at crossing if we have it in the budget. Jody will be bringing a map today for positioning of the new sign. Ellerslie Road or 66st are the best options. 66st between the school and 2nd ave may be a good place.

Nearly $7000 from events this year we have not used, we could use that money towards a deposit.

Amanda and Gemma to look into NPDP grant

Popsicles in the Park

70 freezies/case, cut into half, once case used in May. Alicia has second case in her freezer.

Feedback from Janna – a lot of people went to crossing park due to confusion despite clearly marked sign. 2:30 to 4:30 (or until freezies run out). June 18 @ Crossing, July 16 @ Charlesworth August 20 at Crossing.

Gemma inquired whether we should look into volunteer screening given that we work with children.

Alicia to order more jerseys – Irfan needs a jersey.

Volunteer Screening

Gemma inquired whether we should look into volunteer screening given that we work with children.

Need to pay for screening, Volunteer Alberta provides grants. Would need FOIP, who maintains records, etc.
