mail program that was failing. A stunning 10% of their B2B

promotional postcards were returning month after month, at

the expense of Goodman’s valuable marketing dollars.

Monthly mail program return-rate reduced from 10% to below 1%

It was clear to the SWP team that Goodman’s data list

management was not being handled effectively by the prior

printer, and that results could improve dramatically with proper

maintenance. In response, Southwest Precision developed a

solution that would reduce the monthly mail return-rate from

10% to less than 1%.

To do this, Southwest Precision generated an online data-list

management portal accessed by both the Goodman and the

SWP team to maintain contact lists on an on-going basis. This

included frequently removing any bad addresses, updating old

contacts, along with accessing new contacts added by the

Goodman team regularly.

Not only did Goodman start seeing significantly better returns on

their marketing investment, but they also formed a dependable
