HAND DRAWING
Drawing has always been the core of my ar-tistic and creative expression. It has a high im-portance for me as it is the base upon which I build an idea, communicate it to others and develop it towards the final product.

PAINTING
Painting has always been one of my greatest passions. As I started painting from a very early age, my style has naturally evolved over the time. I now aim to convey complex thoughts into simple and powerful messages. Sometimes I also like to paint without much thinking; I then use na-ture and the mirror for inspiration.

POSTERDESIGN
“Innovation Poster” 2013
Size: 700 x 1050mmTools used: Adobe IllustratorOn display at Karelia University of Applied Sci-ences
In my opinion poster design is one of the most enjoyable tasks a designer has to do. I created different posters for various occa-sions, school tasks, during my internship and as a freelancer. The design process is usually very similar. I do as much research as possi-ble about the event and gather the informa-tion the poster needs to contain, I write down key words as a starting point and create hand sketches followed by the digital version of the poster.

PACKAGE DESIGN
“The Grenada Chocolate Company” 2013
Size of final product: 210 x 160 x40mmTools used: Adobe Illustrator and Rhinoceros School project
The goal for this project was to create a pack-age for a chocolate product. The Grenada Chocolate Company has a unique story that I found very inspiring. The small scale chocolate maker creates internationally award winning and certified organic dark chocolate produced by locals in Grenada. Sustainability is the core value for the company as they use solar power for most of their machines, and use a sailing boat to deliver their chocolate to the world. For this project I created an illustration inspired by their shipping process and I created using a 3D programme a chocolate box with my illus-tration on the cover.

DEAD MAN WORKING DOORSTOP
The goal of this project was to create a product that can easily be mass produced. The door stop was designed to be aesthetically pleasant and functional at the same time. I started the design process with hand sketches followed by technical drawing and 3D design. The pro-totype was developed using a 3D printer and was meant to serve as a sample for creating a silicone mould later on. Marketing materials were also created for promotional purpose.

PRODUCT DESIGNHANGING CHAIR
The purpose of this project was to create a chair out of metal pipes. The hanging chair was inspired by the Egg Chair by Eero Aarnio. The concept evolved during the process, I had to rethink and change the design numerous times adding more and more pipes to create a stable structure. Working with metal and weld-ing for the first time was particularly interesting learning .The end result is quite satisfying, even though completed it still leaves room for future devel-opment. Time to completion: 8 weeks

GREEN GOLD DESIGN PROJECT
For Green Gold Design (GGD) I created the brand identity, from concept to logo design to final product as my bachelor thesis topic. GGD however, is more than a thesis project for me as I am one of the co-founder of the company. GGD tries to create responsible and environ-mentally friendly products without compro-mising aesthetics and affordability. The prod-ucts are created primarily out of jute designed in Finland and manufactured in Bangladesh. Product development is ongoing. The project has received Finnpartnership fund-ing in 2014.
